It appears that undercover tickets is about $7 cheaper per ticket on an 8 day park hopper ticket and mousesavers is about $8 per ticket cheaper. Am I correct or is there someplace else I should be looking. I thought I had read they were closer to $20 cheaper. Any savings is good, but I wanted to make sure I was not missing anything.

Be sure to check the total fees for tickets. This includes shipping, taxes, and any service charges. We have found that Undercover Tourist has the best price. You are right...any savings you can find is worth the search.

Unless I am missing something, I took the price from Disney in the sales cart which included tax and compared to Undercover Tourist $7 per ticket saved and Mousesavers which was $8 per ticket sold. They also give free shipping which is a flat $5. So on 7 tickets I save $56. It is a good number, I was just hoping for a bigger number. I wanted to make sure I was right as I had never used Mousesavers before.

The price differences prior to this year's price increases were much larger. With the 6 tickets we purchased last year be almost got one free with the price difference.

Like you said, any savings helps. now you can go buy a few mickey icecream bars. Have a great trip.

From what I know, mousesavers just has a link to undercovertourist, so UCT is where you would buy your tickets from.

There is generally NOT a huge savings going through the mousesavers link, if that's what you're asking. People make a big deal about it, and it IS a savings...it's just not a savings to agonize over IMO.

If you look at the orange writing on the UCT ticket page, you might see that a *seven* day ticket has a bigger savings vs WDW, but if you need 8 you need 8. :)

That is what I thought. I just wanted to make sure I was reading it right. If I was missinfg something it does not hurt to ask. The $56 is a nice saving, but in the big picture of the trip cost to take all the grandkids to WDW it ends up a drop in the bucket. Now if I can figure out more savings and fill the bucket, I will be a happy Grandpa.

We have found that having a food delivery really saves $$$ for us. We usually stay in a DVC resort... 1 or 2 bedroom villa. They have full kitchens where we make breakfast and lunch almost daily. To be clear, we eat breakfast in the room. That saves a lot especially if you go to character buffets. For lunch, we make sandwiches for the kids and bring along snacks. We then get the kids meals for ourselves. The portion sizes are nice but we sometimes splurge for more extravagant meals. Dinners are always in the parks. That is my favorite part of a Disney vacation.

Consider this. A case of bottled water (24 bottles) will cost about $7. That same case sold individually will cost you about $70 give or take. We buy two cases and freeze them for cooler ice packs.

Apply the same math to a case of beer (if you are in to that). A case will cost about $25. At the resorts/parks that same case would cost $170. Big savings there too.

A food delivery from Garden Grocer costs $12. Well worth it if you go down this path.

I agree with Disney Daze. Although we did save more with Undercover Tourist....about $30/ticket - we signed up for the mousesavers newsletter and used the link. That was compared to the Disney rack rates. But Garden Grocer saved us a ton of money - beer, as mentioned, but also things like milk (to add to cereal in the morning as well as to drink), yogurt, even hotdogs.
