We are planning a trip in early August (2 adult, 3 children). Our plan is one day in each park and two days in the water parks for a total of six days. We have FLA resident status to add to mix. Whats the most cost effective option?

Not sure what promotional (as opposed to standard) tickets are exclusively offered to Florida residents but a 4 day expiring non-hopping pass with water park fun will cover the vacation you described. There may be Florida resident discounts for that pass.

If you are doing the (exact) same vacation in the future a 10 day non-expiring pass with water park fun is even better. The trick is to have the non-expiring pass fully cover both vacations. In this instance there will be two days and two water park admissions left over for still further in the future.
