Ticket Prices to Increase on Monday

I thought it was Sunday, June 12th.

I've been trying to renew our APs, but it's not letting me. My DH's AP expires next month. I guess I'll try to call. I'd rather the $20 be in my pocket, esp. since we'll be back in August. Normally the price goes up in August, so it's only been 10 months since the last increase.

DANG DLR Deluxe APs up $50...ugh

My dad is taking us on a family trip next June...

9 Disney Adults.....5 children.....one infant....

...6-Day Park hoppers for everyone......:scared1::scared1::scared1:

....Luckily, he followed my advice and started buying them in "batches" from UCT. He received the final "batch" two weeks ago:cloud9: so he saved a lot of $$$$.

DSiL and I are going to WDW in October so we bought AP's (to use on the 2012 trip) just a few days ago. I was planning on waiting until the end of July, but decided to pull the trigger. I'm glad I did! AP's went up about $30!

I think we can buy them over the phone from member services, and activate when we get there. Anyone know for sure?

You can buy them right from the DVC website. That is how I get mine. However, renewals have to be done from the passholder website (which is not working? surprise?).

I also would like to know if you purchase them now can you activate them at a later date????

Yes, you can buy the voucher now and when you arrive in WDW you can activate them into the real AP. I held a voucher for 3 years once before converting it.

Thanks. Cool. So between that and the $47 discount for renewing it still pays to be DVC and to renew before expiration.

The DVC discount is more for renewals ($105). Whether a renewal is worth it depends on when you plan to go again. I typically try to plan a trip right before my AP expires and buy a new one on the next trip so that I get a full year.

Hi we bought the premeir passes which exp in Nov however we need to get one for our DS who is now 3 for our trip in July. Does anyone know if the premeir is going up? I am not having any luck from the ticketing CS or blogs?

Thanks!

You can buy them from the DVC website (assuming you're a member). It's under the perks for WDW. Here is where you can find the wdw ticket store to buy your dvc ap. (not easy to find on the dvc website you see.)

2 Questions:

1) We are going to get 7 or 8 day hopper passes for our November trip; if we buy them now, are they good for a year from today or a year from when we first use them (Nov)?

2) Does anybody know how much they are going up (the regular hoppers, not the AP)?

1) They are good for 14 days from first use unless you buy the no expiration option.

2) See this thread, post #51. Add 6.5% sales tax.
