Ticket Prices to Increase on Monday

You can buy them from the DVC website (assuming you're a member). It's under the perks for WDW. Here is where you can find the wdw ticket store to buy your dvc ap. (not easy to find on the dvc website you see.)

Thanks so much! Never knew we could buy them online.

If I choose the pick up at will call option...when do them become activated? After we pick them up and "activate" by entering the park?

How long are they good for to be activated if we choose the mail option? Is it a voucher?

TIA:goodvibes

well this stinks....I had a one day pass from a Free Dining Stay in 2008 that I wanted to apply to the AP with the DVC discount... Now I cant...

Has anybody called to renew their DVC annual pass since it won't work on the WDW website? What number do I call to renew? Ours expire on 6/22 and it makes sense to renew them tomorrow and save some $$$!

So does this seem right?

Family of 6: 4A & 2C going 8 day park hopper in Nov.

Buy vouchers "today" via Undercover Tourist at $311.95 for adults and $287.95 for the kids total: $1823.70
Then upon arrival at WDW exchange these at gate to start the 14 day use period.

or

Wait & buy at WDW on arrival in Nov and pay $351.45 for adults & $331.22 for the kids to total: $2067.23.

I had originally planned on waiting to purchase at the park upon arrival to allow time to save up & pay cash. But if I can save $244 by purchasing tomorrow instead?

I had been toying with the idea of upgrading at least a couple of us to AP in Nov as well, hoping by then to have a more solid plan for 2012 and maybe taking a 2nd trip within the 12 month period to maximize the AP....

When using Will Call, your AP is activated when you pick it up. If you have the voucher mailed to you, your AP is activated when you exchange the voucher for the AP.

We are going to be arriving this coming Thursday morning. Two of my kids need new tickets. Can I buy them tomorrow online and use will call to pick them up? There is no way we have time for anything to be mailed/shipped.

I wanted to buy four Premier APs but since I have to be at WDW or DLR to buy them, I am totally out of luck :sad1:. This is very sad, indeed. That's a $200 increase. I don't see why we can buy everything else online but not the Premiers. Bummed out!

Thank you for letting us know about the price increase, I would have found out after the fact. Will be buying our 10 day hopper tickets today at
undercovertourist.com. Just checked 10 day hopper pass is 294.95 adult price including tax.

I am a little disappointed in Disney for increasig the prices after 10 months.
I am sure it will catch alot of people off guard.

I buy my tickets online all of the time and use the will call method. When you buy online you get a certificate to print (which I also save to my documents in case I lose the certificate). You just take that with you to either the resort desk or guest services to get your tickets or AP. When you get your AP it becomes active the day you turn your will call certificate in.

As for renewing, that you have to do via the passholder website or call the passholder number (407) 560-7277. I will be calling them today too.

I've always renewed online (except when using a free one day ticket to apply) and it's always worked great.

I did a price check for current prices at WDW.

This is for prices on 6/11/11 (old prices).
This is for a 10 day magic hopper plan.

Using mousesavers.com with their private link to undercovertourist $317.95 includes tax and shipping.
Using undercovertourist.com price is $320.00 includes tax and shipping.
Using the Disneys website price is $335.00 includes tax.

Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

I must be doing something wrong. When i check for a 10 day park hopper throught the Mousesavers UCT link I get a price of $318.95. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the answer to this question? I want to get new APs for my 11 & 13 year old "adults". I know adults need to show a photo id to pick up at will call. My children don't have photo ids. It wasn't an issue when I purchased children's APs. Does anyone know how this works for picking them up if they are "Disney" adults, but not really adults? TIA.

Same here! Double checked to make sure I'm going through the mousesaver link, and I am seeing the same prices you are.

Triple play...

I just reclicked through Mary's notice she sent yesterday and it's the $318.95 price and has the Mousesavers logo on the UCT page.

I am playing around with the 8 day hopper pricing. Pretty substantial increase. What really gets me is, they raised the price more for kids than adults.

The 8 day price increased (including the prorated $1 for the park hopper increase) is $3.00 per adult and $3.50 per child. So $48 more for me and my wife, and $56 more for the two kids. That's $104 for the trip, or an extra $13.50 per day for a family of 4 for an 8 day hopper.

Seems like quite a bit, especially since this is the 2nd price increase within 12 months. You'd think they could go 18 months between hikes, but I guess if people are going to pay it, why not....

I think you have to be a mousesaver newsletter subscriber to get the "special" prices. But w/ the increase, there is not enough time to become a subscriber (which get u the link) & get the old prices. Has anyone tried AAA?
