Bear with me, I'm new here. I see the prices for WDW tix went up on 1/1. However, when I try to buy tickets from the official disney website the 10 day BASE MYW (no options) tickets are still showing the 2005 prices (i.e. the same prices that were showing up on that site a few months ago). I went to a 2006 price list on mouse savers and the price currently on the official disney website (when you put the tix in your cart and proceed with purchasing them) was what mouse savers listed as the 2005 at the gate price, that site didn't list the BASE MYW tickets as a possibility for advance purchase. A further puzzling issue since I know that the website DOES have the 10 day base tickets for advance purchase.
So after that longwinded background... what do you think is up? We're going in June, so do you think I should hurry and buy the tickets before the official disney website starts reflecting the 06 prices? Or do you think that the prices shown on the site will last until June.
I'm amazed that we will be able to get 10 days of tix for 2 adults and 3 kids for less than $1000. That's about the same price as the old 5 day park hoppers (if I recall correctly). We're planning to be in Orlando for 2 weeks and do nothing but the 4 theme parks and hanging out at the hotel pool. I figure the 10 day tix will allow us to do 10 short days (and I do mean short since our kids are will be almost 4, 6 and 7 when we go. I'm thinking 4 hour days) and get to see most of what we want without the grueling days that we had when we did a 4 day whirlwind WDW trip before we had kids.
