Ticket Prices Increasing June 12th!

Wow that is ridiculous. It is actually cheaper for me to just to get brand new passes tomorrow than to wait until Sept to "renew" with the 20 dollar discount. ughhhhhhhhh.

Yeah, but then you would lose out on around 3 months of admission in 2012...

This stinks, we are going again in July, already bought 5 day hoppers that we were intending on converting to annual passes.

Question is, will our "valuation" of our 5 days hopper prices go up from the current $211, that the Disney AP people told us?

Our package was brought from Costco, but we are only going to convert my wife's ticket (Premium for parking) early in the trip to avoid a Saturday blackout, then convert the rest on Sunday.

Hope so.

Well, pooh:pooh: !!

In this economy, this may prevent a lot of people from visiting, I suspect. It definitely throws into question our upcoming Christmas trip. :sad2:

Just as soon as I got done telling 2 of the 4 groups of my friends who are headed out here to SoCal this year that the ticket prices will go up in August (because it was August for the last 3 years in a row), DLR opts to raise them in June!:scared1::rotfl2: It figures that as soon as I tell them that, DLR decides to switch things up on us. Now I've got to warn them that if they want the cheaper rates, they'd better order them before the price hike on Sunday.

I figured the AP increases would be pretty lofty considering all the changes happening around the Resort. My current AP is good until mid-November, but I will have to renew it before my big Christmas time trip. I wonder what the new monthly charges will be.

So could I buy my DAP now and use it for sept. and have my first activation day start then?

Except, that you can't get a new pass if you have an existing pass. I just called to ask about doing the exact same thing since DH's pass expires in early August. Apparently, you can only renew within 40 days (too far out by a few days in our case) and if you try to get a brand new pass, the system won't allow it as one person cannot have two APs at the same time. - sigh -

:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:
Thank you, that hit my funny spot!

I am good to go with tickets I bought last week for DL, correct?

I know how WDW works, but not DL.

Thanks.

Our tickets would be $220 more for our 6 day trip:scared1:

Oh drat! That was my plan. We do Premiums and even with our lousy $20 discount, OUCH!!! That's $2,000 a year

Hmm, it was expected I guess.
I hope they don't increase the AP prices too much!

Deluxe AP up to $379..an increase of $50..wonder if there is a discount on renewals?

Ok, so are these new prices the gate prices? Meaning, that the online prices through disneyland.com would be $40 or so lower with the online discount? Just wanting to be sure I'm understanding correctly. Thanks!

If you reserve a package now for December, will the price for the tickets be based on the date you reserve or on the date of your trip? And if they then put out a hotel deal, I suppose they would reprice the whole package, maybe decreasing the price of the hotel but making the tickets more expensive?

Aaarrrrghhhh....that increase seems really, really excessive to me....

I'm sure that will be the gate prices. Otherwise the increases would be outrageous. So I'm sure on DL.com you can still knock $40 off the higher prices.

What surprises me is that it shows all those multi day one park tickets.

Actually, you save $20 a person with online prices, but I'd be shocked if the prices listed weren't gate prices too. Because then a ticket would be $40 higher for a 3 day hopper. $20 I can see, $40 would be crazy!

Ug. Add me to the list of people buying tickets tonight. Wasn't planning on doing it this early but oh well.....:confused3

Thanks for the head's up on the ticket increases.

Actually like I said the higher price PH offer $40 off online. That is the 5 and 6 day PHs. The 3 days are $20 off for buying online. 4 day PH is in the middle at $30 off for purchasing online.
