Wow - so we're getting $149 off now. That's great. So if I buy a 6 day PH from UT today at $308, a current savings of $26, use the ticket and upgrade to the DVC Annual, I could save the $26 plus another $22 which is the increase for that ticket hitting tomorrow, totalling a $48 savings. Sounds like I got to buy some tickets today.

I purchased my AP’s yesterday although we are not going to Orlando until 2014. Can I purchase a renewal to that pass now and then use it 12 months after we activate the AP?

You can only buy a renewal within 30 days of the expiration date.

I just ordered the 6 day PH from UT. Was surprised to see a ship date indicated of 20 business days from now for standard shipping! Ok by me as it's not needed until next year when we'll upgrade it at the gate after using it first. I have a ticket on file that i bought last year thru member services and never redeemed, so we're good to go.

We've never renewed our APs in the past. Either waited until next trip to repurchase or just used MYW tix. The renewal price seems more tempting now. Is it safe to assume you can't use this same sort of ticket upgrade to renew at guest services?

Just finished mine as well. We don't leave untill the 21st of July so we should be safe.

Me too. Just booked 3 adult 6 Day PH and will upgrade to DVC Annual Passes when we go in December. I'm aready getting excited and I haven't even hit my 180 dining ressie deadline yet. So glad the Disboards keeps me in the loop.

Also, if you have a 7 day ticket from UT, do you take that to a ticket window and upgrade by paying the difference?

The premium gives you Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest & Wide World of Sports along with the 4 parks.

To upgrade the ticket, you should use it first for one day to lock in the gate price, then upgrade it at a ticket window.

Glad that the price increase isn't too bad for us and now DVC members are getting AP
's at the Florida resident rate... Cool stuff...

Now if only we could get DL APs at the CA resident rate...
