Ticket prices going up August 6

Figures, don't it. MYW packages open up August 6 for 2007 and we have a rate increase.

Yeah kind of figured they were not making it more perfect, or sprinkled with more pixie dust when they kept pushing back the dates. I know a few mentioned that maybe they were planning new promotions and things for the year of a million dreams that will be starting for this year and next, but obviously it is not looking that way. Seems they were not just listening to what guests wanted brought back, or did not want back, but more how much more can we raise the price for these items and still have people pay for it. I read ddp was now 38.99, and tickets base ones are going up bu 4 more dollars. Not a huge increase, but from what I read the second one in 1 year. Oh well this is our Honeymoon and our first time at disney so I will pay what I have to I suppose. Just was wishing for just a touch of

I really wanted a package, but now that we know for sure that they are going up, I'm torn between holding out for tomorrow, or just buying tickets today at a cheaper price.

Do you want the Dining Plan?

If you buy your tickets today, you will save money, but if you want the Dining Plan for each member of your party, you will have to buy a one day base ticket for each member of your party. So lets say you bought 5 day tickets for $220, a 6 day ticket is only $2.00 more.
But now you need to add dining with a base ticket and that extra day is going to cost you $67 a piece.

If you don't want the dining plan, go ahead and buy your tickets today. But if you want the Dining plan, you will save more buying your MYW tickets with the Dining Plan even though ticket prices are going up tomorrow.

Thank you so much OhMari! I was sitting here trying to figure out what to do. We do want the DDP but I was worried about the price increase and therefore debating about puchasing today. I guess I wait to see what the packages look like in the morning.

Decided to buy my passes today for our trip in 3 weeks. Paid $202 for a 6 day base ticket-no tax!
