Ticket Prices Going Up August 3

Disney, do you *really* want me to come less often and spend some of my time at Universal when I do? I'm already thinking that after this years' trips, my next trip to Orlando may be to see Harry Potter at IOA!

I agree with this. Especially if you're a Florida resident like me. We can get an annual pass for a little over $100...that's less than a 3 day ticket to Disney. However, I'm stuck on Disney while my kids are young...I just can't substitute that level of magic...YET. ;)

is that a restricted pass with blackout dates? for some reason, i thought a FL res. pass comparable to a regular AP with no blackouts was comparable in price to the DVC rate of $348.

Nessz,
I agree with you. Being a Florida resident I can be in Disney in about 3 hours. The pricing compared to Universal or SeaWorld is excessive. However, like you with a young child, Disney has that special kid feel that I don't quite grasp from other parks....yet, LOL.
As far as your trip in 4/09, why not buy now and save the $ if you can afford it now. Not much sense in charging it if you have to carry a balance. Even if you don't go, the ticket will never expire once you purchase it. It will get used eventually. Just an idea.
