I was checking around to see if I could do any better on Passport prices and was surprised to see that AAA actually does have deal on tickets.

From what I can tell, for a 5 Day Hopper Adult this is what I found:

At the Gate: $254.54
Disney Store: $231.11
AAA: $223.00

I was very surprised to see that my local AAA had such a deal. Am I the last person to find out about this?

This is good news. Does AAA have the AP and if so, do you know the price? I believe at the gate its $392 and DC discount is $377.

Is the $223 price including tax? If so that is a really great deal! Good for you!

I don't think they sell APs... just Hoppers and maybe Hopper Plus.

I found it hard to believe, so I asked twice and they said, yes, it includes tax!

Go figure!

Thanks. I was going to get mine at the local DS with my DC card but just wanted to check the AAA price.

This is a great price. We bought our tickets at the DS when we first heard about the ticket price increase. We were still able to get them at the old price. Don't remember what that was as my mom got them for us using her DC discount.

Do these tickets have the Plus options? I priced 5 day passes on AAA and they don't include any Plus options. Mickey

I used AAA to get my 5day hoppers in June, I don't remember what I paid, but the best part was the parking pass you get with the AAA passes. They have a special lot right by the gates and you just walked in the parks. We stayed at the CBR and it was much easier to rent a car and drive to the parks each day because you knew you had a great parking place each day.

If I remember correctly, there was a thread a while back about AAA ticket prices. It seems each regional AAA has their own way of pricing tickets. In other words, they were different prices in different regions. Just a reminder to double check before signing on the dotted line! :D

BTW, my understanding is the only AP discount offerred is through the DC. FWIW.

Can you get the AAA parking passes just for buying the park hoppers or do you have the book the trip through AAA?

yesdisneyfool,

AAA does NOT have AP's. I just returned and believe me I exhaused EVERY resource I could think of to get a discount on the AP. If you still have the DC then go for it. Once that is gone you will be paying the 392.00 I just paid.

no you don't have to book you vacation through them, I just bought my park hoppers and was given the parking passes. I booked the trip myself thanks to all the help I found on the dis boards and mousesavers!!
