Okay, we are torn. We are attracted to the AP thru Bealls discount of B1yrG1yr. We are also attracted to the Universal Excitement 5 days for $75. Not sure how long you have to start using that ticket after you purchase it.... :confused3
So, do we have only 1 in our family get the AP w/ discount right now and me and DS get the 5/$75 deal? OR, do we all get the AP and try to get down there 2X a year??
We loved UO when we were just there, and do plan to return next year for an undetermined number of days. Problem is: airfare, DS in 2nd grade missing some school and cost of room. I'm not sure how the prices run throughout the year for the hotels (ie: rack rates).
So, I'm thinking at least one of us should get the AP (for the better discounts); but then I think we should ALL get an AP to keep our options for visiting open.
BTW: what is the cost of renewing the AP for non-resident?? Anyone??
So, what do you think we should do? It's a lot of money to put out for those 3 AP's right now....vs. the 1 AP + 2 -five days for $75 tickets....but, like I said, keeping options open. We are unsure of how many times we can afford to fly and stay onsite during school-year.......(back to hotel costs)......
So, if you were me, what would you do??? :confused3 I'm lost!!! So is DH....somebody....help us!!! :chat:

I don't know about the universal excitement ticket so I can't really say about it. Two years ago I bought two annual passes. It was the same kind of promotion where you get two years for the price of one. I am so glad I did.
We got our money's worth. We usually only go one time a year but we were able to squeeze in another extra week. What we do with the annual pass is on the day we arrive we go to universal (since it is free, no parking fee, no entrance fee). We then do two days at the parks. We have saved a lot with the food and souvenier discounts also. To renew the annual pass is $106 (incl tax) for another year because I just renewed them. I was thinking of getting the bealls deal but I think this is the last trip for a long time.

Can anyone give me a website to see about Universal Excitement tickets. I can't seem to find it. Thanks. :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

NM......decided to get 3 AP's..... guess we'll be going more than once a year now...... :yay:
