Ticket/Magic Bands question

I purchased my park tickets online, made my FP+ reservations and ordered my Magic Bands on the same day. The Magic Bands arrived last week, and I also received an envelope containing "ticket media" (i.e., cards). Last year when I ordered tickets and Magic Bands I only received the Magic Bands, but I don't remember whether I ordered them all on the same day. Does the fact that I received separate tickets mean that my tickets aren't on the Magic Bands and I'll have to do something once I get to the resort? Or if the tickets are linked on MDE (which they needed to be for me to make FP+ reservations) will the Magic Bands be good to go? We're going at Christmas time when it's really crowded so I don't want any holdups at the parks.

If your tickets have been linked to your MDX account, they should work with the bands regardless of whether you have also received physical ticket media.

Are the magic bands linked to your MDE account? If so, then I think you should be OK.

Just to get technical, there is nothing "on" your magic band except an identification number. This number is then linked to your MDE account and all information is stored there, no on the band itself.

Go into MDE. Look under "MagicBands and Cards." See what's linked to each person and compare them to the cards and bands you have - there's a 12-digit alphanumeric code on the back of each green ticket card and also on the underside of each MagicBand that will allow you to identify what's what.

If a person has a card and a band linked to them, the card and band are interchangeable. Since you were able to make FP+ reservations, you're probably A-OK, but it couldn't hurt to check.
