Anybody know where I can get a good deal on Universal and Island tickets?

I can get a 1park/2 day ticket thru my job that includes unlimited eat and drink with a sippie cup at both parks for $102.00 adult. Is that a good deal? Do I need more days than that? We have never been to Universal or Island!

It starts getting busy that time of year normally.I and others would say at least 2days.One for each park.Commando style for this time of year is hard and you wont see evreything in one day.
I did pull up Universal's sight and you can get 2day 2park for $99 +tax..This would be your best deal.As far as the sipper cup they are only $9..:thumbsup2
Hope this helps!!

A one day two park ticket at the front gate is $101. A two park Meal Deal is $26 and the sipper cup is $9.00. So if you are paying $102 for everything then I think that it is a good deal. I cannot think of any other place that sells this combination.

I have never seen a park ticket that includes the meal deal. You might want to double check on that one.

Universal Parks and Resorts vacations sometimes has this promotion but with a seven day two park ticket. I have also seen people that buy the Meal Deal and theme park ticket bundle through their work location.

Yes, but wouldn't that be a separate ticket? I can see a workplace possibly selling both the one day ticket and also the meal deal but it would be an extra purchase with an extra ticket. Plus meal deals come in such different ways: 2 park, 1 park, 2 park that includes citywalk, meal deal with sipper cups, etc. I can't imagine that a work place would have those options. UPRV would sell it with a package but I haven't seen any businesses that sold the meal deal with a 1 day ticket. I'd just double check to make sure especially with the price she was quoted. Those prices sound closer to conference tickets or school groups.

Universal Orlando Eat & Play Ticket Combo!

Thanks, Josemed. I learn something new everyday. That does sound like a good deal for a one day ticket. But I still think your best deal is the two park unlimited ticket for $99. http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html

It is darn near impossible to see both parks in one day during peak times like when you are going. The $99 ticket gives you 7 days. Even if you only go two days, it is a great deal. I'm not crazy about the meal deal. The choices can be rather boring. Plus during peak times, the meal deal restaurants are very crowded. You'll be wasting a lot of time in line just to eat.

My suggestion would be to arrive early (around 8:30 AM) everyday. Hit the big rides first before the lines get long. (Those rides are Men in Black, Revenge of the Mummy, and the Simpsons in Universal Studios. And Hulk, Spiderman, and Dueling Dragons at Islands of Adventure.) Then I'd eat at Citywalk in the late afternoon around 2:00 PM for a nice meal. The prices aren't any higher at Citywalk and the choices are better for food. Plus you can sit down in the air condtiioning and cool off. I like Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gumps, and NBA Restaurant in Citywalk. Then go back to the parks after 4:00 PM and hit the rides you missed. Usually the evenings aren't as crowded.

I'd plan 1 day for Universal, 1 day for Islands of Adventure, and 1 day to hit your favorites at both parks. You really need 3 days to really enjoy yourself.

if im staying at the hard rock hotel in july i know its busy but the hotel comes with express passes can i see both parks in 2 days?

Since you will have express, you should be fine.

ok thanks because im only going for 9 days and want to go to disney discovery cove and sea world also so i figure 2 days at universal 3 at disney and 1 each for dc and sw and withthe extra days maybe more universal :dance3:

maybe you can, i know i would need 3 days as i also take in the shows and do many repeat rides.

i stay onsite also. ok, you won't have the forever waits in lines for rides and attractions, but the food counter lines will be long unless you eat during the off times.
