Hi all, I'm just curious I'm from Canada and I don't know where i can buy a basic one day ticket for my short trip to disney after my cruise. Anyone know where I can get them? Maybe online? I wanted to get them before we left not at the park. I tried Disney store and with travel agents but they only have minimum 3 day passes.

Also what is the price for one day passes?

I believe you can only purchase one-day tickets as part of a package or at the park itself. No advance purchase.

Plutolovr is correct - you can only buy a one-day ticket as part of a package or at the park gates or resorts. You can't buy a one-day ticket from a broker, a travel agent, or online.

I would have to disagree. I just checked ticketmania's site and they offer 1 day tickets to purchase on line. If you click on the link in my previous post, it will take you to their site. Then click on 1 or 2 day passes in the top left of the page. This will bring you to the 1 day options. Now, unless they are committing some sort of fraud on their website, it appears to me that they do sell a 1 day pass. Jim

I have a few questions for the tickets on ticketmania website.

1) Are the prices in US dollars?

2) Do the one day tickets expire or will they be good until i use them?

That's fairly new. It used to be that Disney did not sell one-day passes anywhere but WDW or as part of the MYW packages.

I gotta say, though, Ticketmania is selling them for the gate price plus $5, so it's definitely a better idea to get them when you arrive at WDW.

Vallie, yes, Ticketmania's prices are all in US dollars (they are located in Orlando, not far from Universal Studios), and no, the 1-day tickets will not expire before you use them.

Disney does in fact sell one day tickets online. They can be shipped for $3 or set up for will call.

Ticketmania now sells one day tickets but will actually charge you $5 MORE than Disney will. You'll pay $71.36 through Disney and $76.36 through Ticketmania. The reason for this is that Disney does not give the wholesalers any price break at all on the one day tickets. They pay what you or I would pay from Disney. So they can only sell them by adding a handling charge which increases their price. Plus in this case, TM will add another $5 for international shipping.

So the bottom line for the OP is buy them at Disney. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you can get them right there. If you are off site, stop by DTD the night before and get them there.
