The link to dvc member benefits on wdwinfo shows a 10% discount on park hoppers. I haven't heard or seen anything on this board on this benefit.
Here's what it says:I think this info is outdated on wdwinfo. Here's what it says:
DVC offers discounts for a variety of WDW restaurants, recreational programs and tours. A complete list is provided to members when they check in at their resort. Members also receive a 10% discount on Unlimited Park Hopper passes, that allow unlimited admission to all WDW Theme Parks, Water Parks, Pleasure Island and Disney Quest for every day of your stay. These passes must be purchased at a Disney Vacation Club resort during your stay.
There's no such thing anymore as Unlimited Park Hoppers since everything is now known as Magic Your Way. As far as I know its only the $100 off an AP. Boy, do I wish it was 10 percent off park hoppers! That would be great as we only do one trip per year and don't need an AP!!
How does the annual pass timeframe work? If we were to vacation in late August of one year, and early August of the next year would we be able to use the pass for both trips provided that none of our days overlap?
The PAP and AP start the first day you use it. Then they are good for 365 days. So if you use it first on Aug 1, the last time you can use it is Aug 1 of the next year. If you choose to renew an AP or PAP, the renewal begins the day of expiration of the last. How does the annual pass timeframe work? THAT'S IT!!! Now Disney has done it!!! They have taken 100 days off of a year! How can they continue to ratchet up the prices while taking perks away from us! I'm putting my contract up for sale.
Also, now all of my calendars are no good!
Thanks, Disney!
