Ticket dilemma-what are my options?

I bought two 7-day hoppers, 14-day expiration, no extras for our upcoming anniversary trip. I ordered them off the Disney website late last year & selected will-call pick-up. We're staying at BCV, so I thought it would be easy to pick them up at International Gateway on our arrival day.

My original intent was to go to Epcot immediately after check-in for a late lunch/snack in World Showcase. We have an ADR at Cali Grill at 8:50 that evening. At best, we might be able to spend 3 hours in Epcot that afternoon. So, I thought it might be wiser to save that one day of our tickets & just eat at Beaches & Cream & maybe enjoy Stormalong Bay. Then, I remembered our tix have the 14-day expiration.

Can I upgrade to no expiration & save for a future trip? That does not seem cost-effective though. From my calculations, that's over $100 total for both tix. Did I figure that right? Can I downgrade to a 6-day (my preference)? Or should I just do the 3 hours & not worry about it? What would you do?

How many days are you there? You could look at it two ways:

The 6day vs. the 7day base tickets are only a few dollars less, so even if you could downgrade (I don't know if you can), we're only talking 6ish dollars for the 2 of you. You could think of your short day in the park costing you only $6ish dollars.

OR,

If you are going to spring for the $55 to make your tix no expiration, then I would try to upgrade your 7day tix to 10days, which is only $6 more (can that possibly be right?) plus the $55. So, if my numbers are right, you would be paying $61 for 3-4 future days in the park.

Last year, I bought the 10day non expire, hopping, plus, for our family. We used 5 park days, and 0 plus park days. Now, that they are offering the free dining, we only bought 1 day passes for the trip and will use last years 'investment' to get into the parks on the other days!

Last year, I bought the 10day non expire, hopping, plus, for our family. We used 5 park days, and 0 plus park days. Now, that they are offering the free dining, we only bought 1 day passes for the trip and will use last years 'investment' to get into the parks on the other days!

We did the same thing with our tickets last year (hoorah for free dinning!) and we plan on using our aditional days in Jan/07. My question is because our room keys were also are park tickets is that what I use next time even though we are staying off site?

Um, actually it costs $65 to add the no expiration option to a seven day ticket and $135 to add it to a ten day ticket (and $50 to add it to a six day ticket); all prices are before tax.

Yikes - sorry about that. I quickly googled the myw prices and must have gotten an outdated (or just incorrect) version.

To correct my math, it would be an extra $136 3 or 4 days - not as good of a deal.

Did they change this? I really thought I paid $55 to add no exp.
