Ticket (check in) question

I have a couple of questions/issues that I hope someone can help me with :confused3

We are arriving in WDW a week from tonight! :cool1: We are staying Friday night at ASM and then moving to BWV for 6 nights. I have 5 MYW base tickets from UT for each person. We may or may not go to a park Friday night, but we definitely will on Saturday and probably before checking in to BWV (emh at HS).

I don't know if I should get everyone's park ticket put on the ASM room key and then transfer the tickets to the BWV room key, or just wait until we check into BWV to put them on the key. If we wait, we will have to use the paper tickets on Friday and Saturday and I hear there's a new process at the turnstiles and it's faster if you have a KTTW rather than paper ticket. :confused3

Also, I am pretty sure we will be adding a day or 2 to our tickets and I was wondering if there is a good time to do this - is there anything tricky I should know about doing? We are not adding hoppers, as it is too expensive for 7 of us.

Also, if I do online check in for our BWV stay (the other day it was down on the website, so I haven't done it yet), will they already have our room keys printed when we get there and will it be a hassle to get our tickets switched from ASM to the BWV keys (or just from paper to BWV keys?)?

Thanks in advance!:flower3:

Not accurate. We used UT tickets last month (first day) because the front desk told us that there was a problem loading the tickets that day. No problems at all. Went right through. System was fixed the following day so we had them put on our cards.

Disney World is currently working on the theme park entrances to replace the old style turnstiles with RFID readers. If you have KTTW Cards with theme park tickets loaded on them, there are separate entrances that are available just for those tickets. They will be making other ticket media (MYW tickets not tied to KTTW card, Annual Passes, etc.) RFID enabled over the coming year.

We stopped at Epcot on 12/22 for lunch and there was no line at the RFID entrance where the others had very long lines.
