evening all

So we are planning 2 trips to WDW next year- 9 nights in February and 16 nights in August... We had a annual pass for this year but it was the old style before the price hike and the changes to block outs etc...

My question is- how much credit do you get (if anyone knows!) for the 14 day UK ultimate ticket? We are DVC members and would be looking for the DVC gold annual pass (as our dates done correspond with the back out dates)

I know in USA the most days they can purchase is 10 days so I wasn't able to do a direct comparison.... We need to know what our ticket options are (also dependant upon the doller vs pound!)

TIA

You get the cost of the ticket as credit as far as I know and just pay the difference. I'm not sure what the gold annual pass includes but if it doesn't include water parks you can't have used the water park part of your UK ticket.

Hi!

Thanks for getting back to me! I guess I was wondering how much the ticket is worth to price bridge? So for example the 14day UK ticket is currently £324 each- or in dollars (1.3 conversion rate) $421.20

If we use the ticket first and then attempt to bridge-will the ticket be worth what a 14 day gate price ticket would be? So a 10 day gate price myw ticket is currently $426- and I read that an additional day would be $10 dollars per day so that means it's $466 (inc tax) worth for the ticket?!

OR

would it be worth the same price as a park hopper water park fun and more ticket (which is what the UK ticket is) which is currently the gate price for a 10 at ticket is $527.18 plus an additional $10 per day to make up to the 14 days = $567.18 (inc tax)

The gold annual pass is currently $587.43 inc tax. It has park hopper but not water park options. We do not intend to use the water park option at all.

So how much should we be charged to upgrade to an AP?!

When we upgraded last time (August 2015) I recall it being around $119 ish per ticket-but then we didn't really investigate prices etc...

Anyone have any experiences to share?!?

TIA

Not sure but definitely following as we're thinking of getting anual passes this trip and doing an adult trip and a family trip next year.

it's worth the price of a 14 day ultimate....
so if you say the price of the 14 day ultimate is $421 and the gold is 587, you'll pay approximately $166....(depending how they calculate the price of the original ticket)....

not sure what else you're talking about...

Hi all,

I know of you buy a ticket from say undercover tourist for example a 4 day ticket for the price of 3 days - you save about $35ish dollars from the gate price - therefore if you up grade to an AP using this discount ticket-you *should* only have to pay the difference between what the ticket if worth to the AP and not what you paid-still therefore saving he $35 ish dollars (if not more)

I was wondering if the UK ticket was 'worth' more because it's a discounted multi day ticket or if it was a straight conversion because there is no such ticket available at will call.....

Anyone any experience?!?

TIA

it's a straight conversion.....from its price (based on however they calculate the price) to the price of the AP...
you need to upgrade before you've used the thing up though....that is, the ticket must still be valid when you upgrade...

i have a question though - now that memory maker is included, what happens to memory maker when you upgrade to AP?
anyone know?
