Hi guys,

Im after some points of view on how many days tickets do you buy??
In the past we have had 14 day disney ticket, seaworld 1 day and universal 7 day. As we only go for 14 days this is a bit over the top and we could potentially save if we buy just what we need.

This trip we dont plan to do Seaworld and im looking at magic your way tickets for disney my question is for a 14 day trip how many disney days do you think we should buy??? We plan to do universal as well !!

Anybody else buy magic your way instaed of the 14 day uk ticket ???

Louisex

we are missing SW this trip too:goodvibes
last year we did 14 WDW, but lost a day for BG another for SW and another for DC, so only used 11 days, plus missed a day as arrived late on 1st day....see where im going? i would work backwards and see how many days you wont be doing disney (ours were included in the free ddp package...)
we have 14 days at wdw and 14 day US tickets this year, we got the tickets for £75, so too good a deal to refuse, i think we MIGHT do US in the AM, then on a few nights go back for fireworks etc.
goodluck with your decision making, i know i didnt help, but goodluck:rotfl:

We plan to too, gonna do Busch instead. Although I think there's a $99 two park ticket which we might get just in case we do fancy catching the Otter and Walrus show :lmao:

we loved BG but dont do that wooden rollercoaster, christ its vicious, and i love roller coasters!!

As scojos says, counting your days backwards will help to give you an idea and dropping SW will give you an 'extra' day. Last time we only had a 7 day Premium ticket, which gave us 7 days in the parks plus up to 7 visits to the water parks within the 14 days of activation. This was enough for us as we also had a day at SW, 2 at US/IoA and 1 at DC.

This time we are swerving Universal as WWoHP isn't open :sad1: and we have also got our DD3 so we are spending more time in Disney with a 14 day ticket.

Nice use of the phrase 'swerving' there, one of my personal favourites :lmao:

I wouldn't totally rule out soft openings for WWoHP tho :thumbsup2

If a soft opening day was guaranteed i'd go!! I might still do one day at US, but I think if I saw Hogwarts in all it's glory and couldn't go in I would cry

Well guys I tried the counting back thing and came up with 7 days in disney but add up what we wanna do in disney and I come up with 10 days in disney :lmao:
Think i need to go back to the drawing board here or book a longer holiday - mmm now thres a thought :rotfl2:

Louise, we had the 10 day MYW with fun days, this gave us 10 Disney Days and 4 or 5 days in water parks. It was non hopping. We bought them from Undercover Tourist and I think the adult ones were £185. We only used 8 days of them though.

If you go through the mousesavers link then you will get them at a small discount too.

ETA- I forgot to say that they expire 14 days after 1st use.

Another thing with the MYW once you get past 4 or 5 days the extra days are only $3 each :thumbsup2
