Tiaras

I bought the one off ebay b/c it was really inexpensive...it's really pretty in the right kind of light!

The biggest piece of advice I can give for buying off ebay is to check, recheck, and then check again ALL of the sellers feedback. If they are 99.9% positive, you know that they are good. Look at the items people have purchased and what their feedback is...if they say "great item! beautiful tiara! fast shipping! great communication! A++++++++++++++++++++" then you know you are good. :thumbsup2

I also bought my hoopskirt off ebay... :thumbsup2

Also, something to consider when looking at the Swarovski tiaras on ebay is do you want it to be made with Swarovski crystal beads (bicones) and wire like so:

or do you want them to be rhinestones? (like the one I posted earlier, but I don't think those were swarovski).

p.s. pintradingwedding, I totally agree...

depending on what you're looking for you should try Micheal's/AC Moore/Ragshop kind of stores. The bigger stores have a decent selection to choose from and I have yet to see one over $30. Plus then you can always get coupons, they usualy have at least 40% off each week. I was working at a Ragshop and found a tiara I liked before I was even engaged and bought it because we were having some crazy sale and it ended up being less than $5. Like what was said before, they won't last you forever, but if you just want one for your wedding day I would suggest you at least take a look :)

I'm selling this on ebay. It's absolutely beautiful in person (the picture doesn't do it justice). I purchased it before I found my gown, and they don't coordinate. If anyone is interested, PM me.

I agree I dont want anything tacky, but I would like to find something nice for a reasonable price.;)

I did find a site called princessbridetiaras.com on The Knot and was wondering if anyone has ever gotten their headpiece from them. They sound pretty good and their tiaras are absolutely beautiful. The one I want to get is $89 which happens to be a much better price then the ones i have seen. Just wondering if anyone has any info on them or has gotten anything from them, and if you are looking for a tiara stop by and check them out, they are beautiful!!!!:) ;)

So I wrote that I bought from them, and then noticed that you were asking if someone purchased from them. I did purcahse my tiara and jewelry from them, and fell in love with what I purchased all over again when it came in the mail. One of the earrings was missing a pearl, I had to send it back, but they paid for the shipping and handling for the return, and the replacement. I also got a nice diamond bracelet as a free gift for the hassle of returning and waiting. They are really nice to work with. If you are wondering if a tiara looks good with a necklace on their site, just write and ask. They matched a couple of options for me.

I got mine from http://www.princessbridetiaras.com/ they have pictures of all the tiaras on an actual person. I think I paid about $60 for mine, it was a clearance, originally over $100. I also bought my wedding jewelry from this site as well.

I just found one on that site that i am absolutely in love with  just wondering if you can tell me how your tiara looked when u got it?? I am just concerned with the stones being sparkly enough! Do the stones on your tiara have a lot of sparkle to them!! I hate having to buy something online without seeing it first, but the site seems pretty good. TIA

Thank you so much that is great to know:goodvibes I think i am def gonna buy from them!!

oh trust me they are sparkly! I put everything on the day I got it (so I am a dork...) anyhow, I walked out and showed my mom, and she was amazed at how nice everything was, and it wasn't at all that expensive. I actually purcahsed another jelwery set for my mom as well as a hair piece for her to wear on the wedding day.

I bought tiara N240 (enchanted garden -under silver tiaras with pearls) and I also bought jewelry set N375 for me, for my mom we got hair pin N5000P and necklace/earrings N391

No problem, glad I could help. When is your big day? I wanted a WDW but with 400 people coming to my wedding, I don't think I could afford that at Disney. Our wedding is June 16, 2007. Thank God! I have been planning this thing for 2 years, since I went to Disney August 2005 and got proposed to!

Hi there,

I got my dress at David's Bridal and of course the tiara I picked was the most expensive one and was over $250!!! But now of course, I had to have that one.

So, I ended up finding an identical one on ebay for $70 including shipping!! I was tickled pink. Here is a picture:

I also concur with someone who mentioned claires...I went there for my gloves. They were $20 there and $120 at David's Bridal. Davids bridal was great for me for the dress, bra & slip. Other than those things I went elsewhere.

Hope that helps.

Have A Magical Day!

Maureen

Tiaras don't really look that great on me, so I chose to get something a little different. I got a headband, made of tulle, with little white silk leaves, little crystals, and had a ribbon that ties around in the back of my neck. I first saw it in Martha Stewart weddings, and just had to have it! Leah doesn't have a picture of it on her site anymore, but she still makes, and sells it.

To get a price quote, email Leah, and then give her a call to place the order. She even changed the color of the ribbon for me to match my dress! I really like that she makes these hats, veils, garters, and head pieces herself.
P.S. She really appreciates it when you send a wedding picture to her showing her how her head piece was used.

I bought mine on ebay. I was going to buy it from tiaratown.com, but then I saw it on ebay for, almost 60% less. I went to David's Bridal, for my flowergirl's tiara and paid only $30.
