I don't have pictures (sorry!) but the ones I've seen recently range from about $35-$100.

HTH!

I payed about $43 for my cinderella tiara i got at Arribas brothers in DTD. However the pink stone at the top fell out the second week I had it.

One might do better by purchasing a good solid tiara at different shops. I purchased a cute pirate one, in Disneyland. It is holding up very well. The others that I have, were purchased either at antique stores or retail businesses. Each one has been worn during my various visits to the land. I have fun with it. I will wear one during the day, then change it for the night. So far, I have been very fortunate with them not coming loose, much less flying out of my hair, during Indy, BTMRR or while going on expedition of the Matterhorn. And that is because I have several techniques so as to keep it place. For I would be sad, in the event of my tiara departing from my hair and being lost or damaged.

They sell them at Michael's and you can use your 40% off coupon.

Very valid point! I hadn't thought of it flying off on the rides.

Will look into ebay and Michaels! Glad to hear that others want to be princesses as well. I had threatened my kids to buy one for each day! :rotfl:

I had thought I'd be the only disney dork doing that! Guess we are in good company here on the DIS. :woohoo:

I bought my DD a beautiful blue & clear glass crystal tiara off of eBay for her 16th birthday, much nicer than anything I could have gotten at a park *and* much cheaper too. Maybe look up bridal/quincinera tiaras?

agnes!

Good to know about Michaels sale, gracias. Also,Claire's Stores sell tiaras. And on line Oriental Trading Company, they also have a catalog. Theirs look nice (Have not ordered any yet) and are very well priced too, like at Claire's.
If I am a Disney dork for being older than 10 and wearing a tiara, that is OK. For I agree, we are all in very good company. :)
I purchased a cute pink, looked like rhinestone, hair clip that is designed as a mini tiara, on Main Street in Disneyland, this past April when I visited. Well.......it looked nice in my hair, but.... when it came time to remove it, it would not budge from my hair. I finally managed to get it off, then quickly determined that it was like Poe would say (Only of course it is a Raven, but still go with it) never more. For although it did not break, the clip would not close, for anything. So the next day, I returned it, and did not replace it. I do not recommend those particular clips.

The ones at Disney really aren't really that great of quality. I lost the large stone too, but at home, so I was able to put it back in. I think I spent about $20 on it.

There's probably a ton of places to look for one, that will hold up better than the Arabas stores.
