Tiana's Riverboat Party Ice Cream Social and Parade Viewing Starts Nov. 29th

Generally I don't mind upcharge events, but I have to admit it irks me when the upcharge event means that the boat will not be available for park visitors during the parade. Not that I would skip the parade to ride the boat, but there are people who do just that, and now that option disappears for them in order to make way for an upsell opportunity.

So I'm thinking they have to pull that boat forward, between the building and the trees right at boarding, I see the only view would be from the top and that wouldn't be so good either. Even forward has trees but ............... I'm not feeling like any view would be worth paying for.

I'm going to MK tomorrow and will ride it and see. I think if it moves forward and stops in front a country bears jamboree it should be ok but I'll ride it and check it out

Totally agree.

We often ride the Riverboat during the FoF parade for free. Now my family of four can get a sweet treat and ride it with Naveen and Tiana for $200.

Guest Check-in begins 45 minutes prior to Festival of Fantasy parade

December 23rd through December 31st Booking Time: 3:00pm and The viewing will be of the Mickey's Once upon a time Christmas Parade.

Booking dates: November 29th,2016 through March 31st, 2017

Guests will be welcomed onto the Liberty Belle Riverboat Landing, where they will receive festive Mardi Gras beads, and the ice cream social will begin. Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen will be at the landing to greet Guests prior to joining the parade. Shortly before the parade, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen will depart and event guests will cruise to a unique viewing location in preparation for Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Following the Parade, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen will re-join the party to greet Guests on a cruise around Tom Sawyer Island.

The event will end approximately one hour after Festival of Fantasy Parade.

Price : $49.00 Adult (10 and up) and $29.00 Child (3-9) includes tax

--- Guests in wheelchairs will experience the cruise from the first level ---

Guest will receive a commemorative autograph card.

I think we might do this on Dec. 23rd. for the Christmas parade. We watch the parade twice, at 12:00pm to get pictures and then at 3:30pm just to watch so this would be fun to experience it in a new way/ Plus I'm liking the desserts that are going to be offered.

It actually worked out well that the DRC couldn't make the reservation because it looks like I will be going on the 4th instead of the 3rd.

That's a pretty solid mix of food/drink items. And a pretty decent amount of time with the characters. Depending on how many people book, this could be some great one-on-one time.

the Christmas parade doesn't start for day guests until Dec 23rd. On the 18th you will see Festival of Fantasy

My family always enjoys riding the boat and think it's an underrated attraction. While I don't have a huge issue with the party, it is too bad that it will take away from the normal hours. It is a rollback of another attraction that's part of a daily admission. Not trying to be negative, but it's a little frustrating.
