Tiana's Bayou Adventure (Magic Key Previews Start Oct 21st)

The rules above are what's posted in the app - appears to be like normal.

I'm curious if the 3pm starts will have 7am queue opportunities, or if they'll wait and do them at noon and make people enter the park first. (I'm assuming the former, but we'll see.)

The first day was a 3pm start and the VQ opened at 7am

How difficult has it been for people to get in the queue? Thinking of making a trip to use the magic key preview, but don't want to spend the money or time if there is a big chance of not being able to get into the queue....
I was lucky enough to get Boarding Group 1 on Day 1, but it was pure luck. I've never gotten Group 1 before on anything. I was refreshing over and over again starting at 6:59AM.

Did you get completely soaked? I’ve seen some videos where people look like they went swimming with their clothes on 😳
I also got lucky and sat in the back (Row 6). My partner was in Row 5. We both got off without too much water on us. We received what could be described as a splash. The first two rows were drenched head to toe. Like as in a beach-sized wave of water crashed onto them. The middle two seats were still pretty wet, especially the one drop that shoots back up. They got a pretty crazy side wave on that one.

I don't remember Splash Mountain being so fast inside. Maybe that adds to the water levels and how wet you get.
Overall the revamp is a plus to the original, but I do miss the zip-a-dee-doo-dah finale.

Thank you! That’s what I’m afraid of!!

Wow, I just tried for a boarding group and used all my old ROTR tricks (atomic clock, etc) and was not able to get a group - they were gone in less than a second (I saw the “join” button at exactly 7 am, and after immediately clicking join and showing my party it then told me it was closed). This is crazy! So for anyone making a trip to see TBA be aware that you may not get on the queue even if you try exactly at 7 AM! How have others’ experiences been?

Just got Group 5 virtual queue! Will report back, and also leave a Hungry Bear review (ate during the soft opening)
Congrats! Any advice for those of us not lucky enough to get a BG for next time? Bummed that we couldn’t land a BG even using atomic clock!

My tip is to use the world clock for the exact seconds. I keep my labtop on the world clock and my phone obviously for the reservation.

Now, that's what has worked in the past, but have yet to try for TBA.

Who gets to ride on the days that aren't set aside for Magic Key holders during this preview time?

How has luck been for the noon VQ? I'm going next Sunday but I'm not sure what time I'll get to heading out the door and driving 90 min to get to the park so if I got a low group I may not even be near the park yet with the 7AM VQ.

The attraction doesn't open until 9 am so, if you are up at 7am and get an early number, you'll have to leave right away. That's what happened to us yesterday.

All week the previews have been from 3-9 pm (presumably after construction is finished for the day). Yesterday was the first day that previews were 9 am - 5 pm.

@julesann They are still putting the finishing touches on the ride, so when there aren't previews, no one is riding.

Even though I'm still a little salty that Tiana's replaced Splash, I am going to have major FOMO when I'm there next weekend and can't ride it! I was even telling myself that I would get an MK if they were selling them again before my trip (I am definitely going back in March with my Mom for her birthday). Lol and of course they will be selling MKs again...but only 2 days after I will be there! Womp womp. Oh well, I will try it in March! (And will bring a poncho and Crocs 😂)
