Tiana-LLMP or Virtual Queue?

It looks like Tiana's is either available for Virtual Queue or Tier 1 LLMP. Is there a concensus here about which is better to use?

LLMP is better since if Tiana's goes down(which is still does frequently), you get a Multi Experience Pass while with at VQ you don't get any benefit if Tiana's is down. I would personally try for both and possibly ride twice unless you are visiting during a cold spell.

"Better" is dependent on preference. LLMP locks in a timeframe that you ride it well in advance of the day you want to go. VQ requires you to be up at 7 am on the day of, you only have an estimate of when you'll be called, you don't have a choice of timing, and the line will be longer. However... it's free, and you have to pay for LLMP. Some people are willing to pay the price to guarantee their spot well in advance, others might want to save their money and they don't mind working with the VQ system.

I was wondering the exact same thing! I decided to go with LLMP (even though it's a whopping $35! the day I go) because I didn't feel like being locked into getting up at 7:00 on vacation. So glad to see that some here have recommended it. I just hope it doesn't go down -I really, really want to ride it. So if I can get up at 7:00, I appreciate the tip-maybe I will ride twice.

I'd say IF YOU CAN get it as a LLMP that's the better option in the sense that you know when you'll be riding and you enter the LL instead of the VQ line.
However at least for me I couldn't get it as a LLMP but was able to get a VQ morning of.
Trouble was I had lunch plans and was then park hopping so couldn't even use the VQ.

For clarity for others, Tiana is one of the options a guest can try to get when they purchase LLMP. A guest can book 1 Tier 1 and 2 Tier 2 attractions when they purchase. After using the first they can book another.

I understand that's what you were saying but wanted to clarify that Tiana is not an LLSP.

The other big advantage to LLMP is that the wait once tapping in is relatively short. We have waited as long as 45 mins after tapping into a Tiana VQ.

We get up early anyway, so we went with virtual cue. We're seniors and wasn't sure if we could even get a time.
Well, we got 5.......by the time we got to the park and walked over there, it was a walk on.

Does anyone have input on how difficult it is to score a Bayou Adventure LLMP? I've heard they disappear quick, but don't have any experience trying to snag one. I have a 2 day trip planned, and I'm wondering if chances of getting one at the 7 day mark are slim.

I think the chances are slim- I couldn’t get one on either day 1 or 2 of our midweek trip, although it may be different at different times of year.

I would say based on what is displayed below, your chances actually seem good!

Based on this chart (taken at 7:30PM so more than 12 hours after guests for next week could book 7 days out) there are still LLs available for 7 and 8 days from now. The earlier times in the day will be gone but hopefully you can still find something.

A lot will depend on when you are visiting. If it’s a busier week the chances go down but I would not give up hope!! 😊

Yesterday we got boarding group 37. We were called at around 10:30 and it was a complete walk on.

If you're visiting during winter just do virtual queue, it's easy to get a slot and it'll be a walk-on. If you don't want to bother with the VQ that's fair I guess.

We had a good amount of availability for Tiana's on Day 4 of our trip; not sure about Day 1 or 2 when you're 7 days out but I think there's a good chance you'll get *something* (though you might need to be more flexible on the time depending on what's available).

I think we'll try to do VQ also but I'm glad we have the LLMP in the bank. We had our choice of time too which is great.

Virtual que worked fine for us. We were awake with the kids at 7 am anyway and the line went very quick. Plus it was free. It’s all preference tho.

I posted a separate thread on this but this actually answers part of my question. Seems like Tianas might be hard to get on day 2 of my trip. For people who’ve gone recently, was Tiana’s harder to get than Slinky Dog? I’m trying to decide which to book first at our 7am window. HS is later in our trip, but I thought Slinky Dog might be harder. But maybe that’s wrong based on this!

We went to the MK this past Wednesday. As an offsite visitor even though I was online as soon as I could be three days in advance, I could not get an LL for Tiana. And this was supposedly slow season, 4 out of 10 crowd level. That made the decision easy -- virtual queue. I was on exactly at 7 a.m. morning of for that and got group 35 which had us doing the ride between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and that worked great. If you are onsite, I am sure snagging this as an LL would be more doable.

Experts say LL is better in case of the breakdown in the ride. With a breakdown, they give you an anytime LL that you can use for this or something else automatically. Since we couldn't get Tiana, we got Space Mountain for our Tier 1 LL for and what do you know, that ride was broken down when we went over. With the LL, though and the ride broken down, that gave us the LL anytime, so we were able to go back and do that as soon as we noticed that the ride was back up.

I was at the parks last week. When I bought my Lightning Lanes in advance, Tiana's wasn't available. And then we never got it while we there that day either. We did return to MK on our departure day, and LLMP wasn't planned, but while I waited for my wife to finish getting through security, I saw that it was in a window that we were still going to be around for, so I managed to get it then.
