Should I wait to buy at THV when they open or can I buy SSR now and still get the 11month booking window. Are they really the same property?
Also we own at AKV if I want to buy resale at SSR and can find the same use year, would that be like when buying through Disney and have the same UY?

THV will be part of SSR, so buying SSR will give you the 11 month window.

Once you complete buying a resale, everything is the same. You don't have to have the same use year on a resale.

Maybe you should call your guide and see if by some miracle he/she can tell you if you should wait for when they open it back up. Right now you will pay 104 points through Disney with no incentives. You can get some really great point prices going resale....but of course it takes much longer. Tough call but I suspect they will be announcing something very soon. I think the current AKV incentive was ending yesterday or today. Maybe some new announcements for AKV and SSR will come out this week.

SSR contracts = THV contracts. We're back to this again, just like the confusion over Kidani vs. Jambo contracts - which are all AKV contracts.

You can buy SSR right now for good prices via resale (at the moment, until SSR owners selling their contracts start figuring out that they're selling THV contracts and raise their list prices).

I read (from another poster that asked their guide) that the points should be the same as a 2BR unit at SSR.
