THV & Golfers ?

Anyone staying at the THV and golfing - can you answer some questions?

In order to utilize the free cab ride to a course, will golfers have to walk to SSR to get a cab? If so, think it's best to leave your clubs (initially) at SSR bell hop rather than take them to your THV?

Is it possible to order a cab from your THV? If so, how would you get the "voucher"?

Coming back from a course, do you think the cabs will take you to your THV or will all drop-offs be at SSR (and then you walk)?

I'm thinking of a spring break trip (2011) but am not sure if I want to rent a car or not. TIA

It is my understanding that when using the taxi service provided for golfers that you embark at the taxi stand at the main building of any resort. So, I don't think that they will drive to your unit.

It is my understanding also that the taxi to the golf courses leave and return at the lobby of each resort. Leaving your clubs at with bell services is probably the best idea.

I was told that you could store your clubs at the pro shop and they would send them to the other courses pro shops for scheduled tee times.

I don't know how accurate that was, but the CM at the pro shop for Palm told me this.

I know they do this for people staying on property between rounds and last Feb I was staying at SSR and dropped my clubs off at the Pro shop before I went to my room because it was convenient and we were playing at LBV the following morninng. Since they make the club transfers daily, I would assume you could drop your clubs at the LBV Pro shop for transport to another course for later play. A word of caution on that, though, if you are playing the next day and you check in late in the day, make sure you ask the Pro shop if you are in time for the transfer!
