Hey,
Don't know yet. We will have our first stay in October.
One thing that I've noticed about MOST reveiws, is the reference to the price tag at the Poly: If you think $300+ is lots for it, and don't have a stellar experience, than you MAY have a negitive attitude. However, those who get a deal, or don't feel that $300+ is excessive, have a more positive attitude.
Bottom line--I really think it comes down to what you can REALLY afford. If you've broken the bank to stay there, yeah, you want perfect-- may not be happy with less. No resort is perfect...at any price tag.
I travel often. I've stayed in all level of hotel, resort and motel. Some have been pretty gross; some have been breathtaking.
I'm staying at the Poly for the ease of the monorail, the conveince of the 2 table service resturants and the tropical atmosphere. I also except a clean room and gracious staff--I would expect this at ANY Disney resort. I do not hold the Poly to higher standards of mousekeeping because of the cost.
Just my 2 cents.
I'm planning on a review when we get back. But, I expect, that unless the monorail breaks down and cannot be fixed, the resturants both catch on fire or there are bed bugs in my mattress, it will be a possitve review
