Who is taking care of me, the Queen of Allergies.
DH was doing the requisite daily phone calling 7 days in advance to let the restaurants know about me. Brenda is the person he spoke to who's in charge of MK restaurants. She asked him for the names of all the restaurants we would be eating at and said she would take care of it.
Also yesterday when he made the phone call, he was told by someone that Disney is working on making it easier for "returnees" with allergies. All the info will be on file and guest will no longer be required to make these phone calls (which I think are kind of fun -- but they weren't when I didn't have a flat rate phone bill).
So a big cheer for Brenda!
And as a brief aside, friends who will be dining with us for most of the trip are excited about eating with me and getting to meet the chefs. They're thinking of it as another "attraction" at WDW! I never thought about it that way, but now I am!
For once something POSITIVE as a result of my allergies!
