We returned from our trip about 9 days ago and had a wonderful time! I will say that sickness is going around and (happily for us) we caught a stomach bug on our last day there. Our 19 month old got it 3/4 into the trip. He threw up one time in the middle of the night in his pack n play. I called the Disney hotel where we were staying and asked them to send up a new pack n play. It was 12:45 at night. To make a long story short, they never brought us a pack n play until much later the next day. I really wish I had brought an extra sheet for my baby. He had to sleep in the pack n play with throw up in it. The best I could do was to lay down towels over as much of it as possible.
Fast forward two days and our other two kids got sick in the middle of the night. There was vomit everywhere! I asked for extra towels and extra sheets prior to them getting sick, just trying to be prepared. I would suggest that for everyone. Disney did not provide good service in the middle of the night. I was able to make a "bed" of towels next to the toilet for my son who had to get up repeatedly to throw up. Also was able to use the extra sheets for my daughter since their bed was unusable.
I felt really bad for the next family who had to use our room because I doubt that the maids thoroughly cleaned all surfaces. After our experience, I will always bring Lysol wipes with us to our hotel to wipe everything down.
One other thing, I rarely found a highchair on Disney property with a working seat belt. My 19 month old is very active and several times almost fell out of the highchair. It drove me nuts to not have a seat belt to buckle him in. Be Our Guest was the only exception. Some places also seemed to have a highchair shortage and our baby had to eat in his stroller a couple of times.
Just a heads up to people who are headed to Disney with kids....
