Throwing up at Disney...

I know it's vacation, but your child should really be vomit free for 24 hours before you bring them on buses and airplanes. If your daughter threw up in the middle of the night, do you think she wanted to go on rides the next day? Then threw up in the Disney bus? I am sorry, but that is really inconsiderate to the other people on the bus. Maybe a day at the resort after she was sick during the night would of been a better decision.

Well, we are at Disney right now. 7 days into our 10 day vacation, Ds12 felt sick on the bus back to MK (we are at Music). 2 days later (today) we still kept him out of the park with my dh, but dd14, dd10, dd11mo and I went to MK today. We were about 1/2 hour from heading home when ds threw up. I had no choice but to bring him on the bus back to our hotel. I did stop at first aid and they gave me barf bags. He got sick twice in the bag on the bus and a bunch more in the hotel (we are lucky that our kids make the toilet 99.9% of the time). Now dd14 and I are tag teaming in the bathroom tonight. Ugh. Just glad we have two rooms and dh amd dd11mo has slept through it all. All puke has made it into a toilet and all surfaces repeatedly Cloroxed. I brought an 80 count container because we all got the atomach bug when we were here last in '11. Not so magical trips for us at Disney!

I'm so sorry your trip is so miserable.:(

If you do try and venture out to the parks, if you start to feel ill, keep in mind there are usually taxis available. That way you won't have to wait on a bus to take you back to the resort. Best of luck to you all

I was there last week and my 6 year old got sick (stomach virus) 2 days before the end of our trip, then the other four of us got it the day after we got home.
Not a great souvenir! :headache:

We were there two/three weeks ago and my son got sick on the bus our last day. We thought it was just too much food and excitement as he was pretty fine for the rest of the day. Then he got sick again on the ME. We've all come down with various severities of stomach bug since.

I know you can get a stomach virus at any time but this time of the year they are so much more prevalent. This is the reason I would not go to Disney around the winter time. Too much of a chance of catching a stomach bug. I know the summer it's hot as heck but the stomach bug is not as common then.

And this is why I buy those cheapy flip flops and wear them in the room and throw them out on our last day. God only knows what is in those carpets and bathrooms.
