If you get any discount whatsoever, it will be gone when you change the number of days unless they still have it available.I have a similar question to Synderella.
We are planning a trip for next summer. If I book a stay for 10 days at POP, my FP window opens 60 days prior to day 1. But If I really only want to stay days 4-10, does it work to make FP for those days but then change the dates of my trip with Disney? Essentially, I'm booking a few days on the front end I will not use in order to get earlier access to the FP system. I know Disney allows changes to the trip for no charge as long as it's more than 30 days out.
But didn't know if changing my trip dates would mess up my FP reservations.
I started to look through this thread, but I'll admit I have not read all 129 pages, so sorry if this has already been asked and answered.
i feel bad for asking these questions..but some of the posts are from a while ago....
a)make one night reservation
b) get fp+ for those 2 days plus a rolling for remainder of our park tickets?
c) get free parking for those 2 days or for remainder of our park tickets?
d)does it link to the ride pictures..(are they included in the memory maker now?)
e)can my husband use my band for my fast pass to a ride that i dont want to do?
f)are sdfp in addition to fp+ advanced reservations and are they limited.?
g) the magic bands at the disney store at 20.00 do what?
just when i had the last fast pass system figured out..lol..
i greatly appreciate any answers to these questions....thanks
The correct answer is a "rolling 60-day window" after checkout day of the onsite stay. You can make FP+ at 60 days out for two days . If you have more days on your tickets, those will be at 30 days if not attached to an on site stay.
The correct answer is a "rolling 60-day window" after checkout day of the onsite stay.
Once the 60-day booking window opens in MDE, it remains at a full 60 days and "rolls" forward each day. At no time does the window revert back to a short 30-day window. The 60-day booking window and rolling 60 is a benefit for all onsite guests.
It depends on what your entire stay consisted of.Oops! All that time reading these threads, a trip under my belt and I still got it mixed up. Thanks for the clarification. So the 60 days is to book one day at a time after the onside stay is over? I was able to book our entire stay at 60 days out from the first day.
It affects your MBs because if you cancel before they are shipped, you won't receive MBs.Here's a situation which sounds like lkie a throw away but isnt.
I have a split stay:
one-night room only at AllStar, then
three nights room only at The Dolphin.
I got Magic Bands, hooked-up our tickets to them.
I made all of my FP+s and ADRs.
Due to an unavoidable circumstance,
we have to cancel the AllStar room.
Does this affect any of my plans: Magic Band, ADRs or FP+s???
Thanks.
Call.I was just trying to book a campsite for the last week of January and it says nothing is available? Is that because they've all been booked up already by throwawayers? I can't believe late January is prime camping season and attendance is projected to be low.

Onsite to onsite stay keeps the FP booking window open.
Onsite to offsite reverts to rolling 60 after the onsite checkout day.
If you were able to book onsite through offsite at exactly 60 days out from onsite check-in day, you benefitted from a glitch.
I've admittedly only skimmed about 10 pages of this thread. But I've read enough for it to pique my interest. Tell me if I have anything potential working for additional SDFP under my scenario...
I have about 10 old MBs from past trips, most recently Jan 2015.
I have a split stay booked for this coming weekend - one night at BWV, 3 nights at VGF. Both reservations are tied to my MDE, along with my park tickets (I made FP+s 60 days out). I've already online checked in for both.
I did not pre-order any MBs (I was too late paying attention). I talked to Disney last weekend and they said they would have MBs waiting for me at BWV check-in. My 2nd reservation at VGF isn't linked to my BWV reservation, so the Disney rep told me I could present the MBs I get at BWV to VGF and continue to use those instead of getting new ones (or I guess I could use the 2nd set???).
My wife has a separate MDE account, if that matters/helps. I also have a slew of unused tickets that I've purchased for future use.
So - any potential on using a 2nd set of MBs in some way to get some extra SDFPs?
Thanks
Which MDE are your tickets for future use on? If they are on yours, you can assign them to "fake" (called phantoms a lot on this board) people who aren't going with you. Then you would have to buy magic bands for those "people" or you just can use the plastic tickets if you have them and they haven't previously been assigned to someone else. Now if you already have people on your MDE with Magic Bands who are not going with you this time, you can assign the park tickets to them and use their magic bands/plastic cards. You would be able to go ahead and make FP reservations for however many days you have tickets. No need to wait for SDFP. Just be sure you don't use those magic bands/cards at the park entrance. When you go later and actually plan to use the tickets, you can reassign them to whomever is going to use them. It's really the same if you want to use your wife's MDE. Just assign the tickets to someone other than the people who are going this time in the same way. I'm sorry if I confused you. There is a whole thread about it. All you have to do is read the first page. I don't know how to link it. You should be able to locate it through searching "maximize FP."Bumping to see if anyone can help out. Flight out is this afternoon...

Sounds good. But just remember with tickets attached, you do not have to wait to use the kiosks. You can make FP for those phantom people as soon as you assign the tickets either online or with MDE app. Your availability for FP should be much better than waiting and you will be able to think and plan them geographically in relation to your other FP so you aren't doing the Disney death march all around the parks.Thank you for the direction to that other thread (I found it). All the options are a little confusing. But I think I understand it. I don't have my future tickets assigned to anyone yet. So I can create some "phantoms" on either MDE (mine or my wife's) and assign the tickets to those phantoms. I'll then either have to buy a MB and assign it, or trade in the paper ticket (purchased from UT) for a plastic ticket to use at the kiosks.
