Awww, hello there! Thanks for saying I'm doing well! I think my childhood trips at the Land are helping by serving as a primer for the World. Also, I over-think EVERYTHING. I'm actually going to get to work on dresses today! After we see Big Hero 6, that is.
I hope you'll stick around! ADR day is Monday, after all.

I'll stick around! My DDad has me planning another vacation for our family, too, so I'm getting re-acquainted with the DIS. It seems I only ever find myself on here when there's a real trip to plan otherwise I miss everything Disney too much. You're definitely lucky having gone to the Land when you were little (only been there once myself). But if no one has yet told you -- you are definitely going into Disney's own little World away from the world! It's amazing! And best of luck with the ADRs! We didn't start planning until well past ADR Day so now DDad is asking me "when do we eat at Beast's castle?" and I basically have to tell him "when we steal the Delorean from Doc & Marty next year and go back to our 180 day mark."

Well, you must "come and see me, I adore our little chats." (Hm? Edna Mode humor, yes?) I know what you mean about missing Disney. I've spent so much time on here to make sure I got this trip done up well that I feel like I could be a pro planner or something and I've never even been myself. Either way, I got ADRs today, and now I feel like the Queen of Intergalactic Ninja Space Princesses or something.

You know I actually read about someone cosplaying as Marty at Disney World? They apparently had a HILARIOUS time.

Squee! I love your gif choices. Yeah...I'm a bit nervous about the in-laws, but I did have to change the reservation AGAIN (holy cow) today, and I think while I wasn't worried before, now I have even more security of a smooth trip. Thanks for reading!

Hi! I've tried to type this blasted thing three times and it hasn't let me! This is becoming a reoccurring theme with this day! OKAY: I shall try to make the long story short to appease the servers of DIS Boards! I feel like somewhere, someone in vBulletin headquarters is singing "99 bugs in the programming code, 99 bugs in the code! Call the engineers down, pass it around.....853 bugs in the code!"

1. The reservation CM who originally booked my In-Laws onto my existing trip did it wrong, and didn't make it a split stay.
2. When I got online to book my ADRs this morning, I could only do it for the first four days.
3. I was told this meant I needed to have it properly booked as a split stay.
4. I called resort reservations (heretofore "RR") and did that.
5. I called Dining Reservations (heretofore "DR") and still couldn't book past 4 days.
6. I called RR again. They told me to call Help Desk.
7. I called Help Desk.
8. They told me to call DR.
9. I called DR. They told me I'd have to book the 2 legs of my trip separately, the first 4 days today and the rest of the trip on Thursday.
10. I called RR to change my reservation to one reservation for us and change the 2nd reservation to a 4 day on for the in-laws.**
11. I booked all of the dining reservations for the duration of the trip.

**Yes, yes this does mean I get my own little room at POP Century away from the in-laws in the hopefully non-existent occurrence of annoyed parties. I think we'll get along swimmingly, but if we don't, we have our separate corners. Perfect!

Booked ADRs include, in no particular order: BOG (Yes! Yes, I totally did it!), CRT, Akershus, Liberty Tree, Chef Mickey's, T-Rex, Hollywood & Vine, 1900 Park Fare (on Mother's Day! We're having dinner with Lady Tremaine on Mother's Day! <3), Tusker House, and Coral Reef! Huzzah!

Now after all of that booking, I think I could use a few drinks from around the world. I was still on the phone while trying to update this! Linking Magical Express for my In-Laws and a tea party for Squeaker! But now I feel we are ready, and better prepared for FP+ booking day 4 months from now. It'll be good.

It was today! It was like exercising via telephone! I felt like I was getting bounced around like a little marble in a pinball machine!

I really do think my in-laws will do okay on our trip. We both have our own rooms, so there won't be any concern about personal privacy or comfort now, and we'll be at Disney. Everything else is just details. We'll take pictures of Gram with Gaston and Mom & Gram with Lady Tremaine, it'll be great.

Your ADR list looks great! I did BOG last week and I LOVED it (based on the atmosphere and service alone - I can't tell you anything about the food because we don't order off the menu). I wasn't so impressed with the characters at 1900PF, but we did breakfast, and dinner characters may be better. I haven't done the rest (well, I did Akershus as a kid before it was Princess dining), so I can't give you first-hand opinions, but I've heard good things about all of them.

Here's hoping FP+ booking day goes more smoothly!

Be sure to wish Lady Tremaine a Happy Mom's Day and see what she does, or ask Drizella and Anastasia what they've done for her. Maybe there will be hijinx. As for Marty in the World -- I've never seen it, but I've wondered what would have happened if I had dressed as Bellatrix or Hermione from Harry Potter instead of the Dreamfinder when we went for MNSSHP last year.

Girrrrrl, I pride myself on being as sweet as I can possibly manage to cast members. I know some guests are less than magical and I do not want to be the one who makes their day hard, no thank you, but after the second call I was losing the poise required to balance my invisible tiara, but I will say that I still made effort. I did get a bit short with the Help Desk lady, but only because she was short with me. She insisted the problem I had didn't make sense, and I responded "It really doesn't matter that it doesn't make sense; it happens to be true." I'm not particularly proud of myself. :/

I *totally* want to take Lady Tremaine a handmade card from Squeaks to see what she does! I wonder if the step-sisters will get mad for "showing them up." I totally want my MIL and I to get our picture made with Lady Tremaine on Mother's Day; I think it'll be just perfect.

We ARE doing the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian! I just bumped it up to Mother's Day, because I thought that would be pretty perfect and that way Matt has a roller coaster riding buddy (his Dad) while the ladies are out. I'm trying to see if I can't find someone who'll help me get glasses onto Squeaker's doll, as we just found out Squeaks is VERY, VERY nearsighted, and needs to wear a pretty thick pair of glasses straightaway. Wish me luck.

Crazy is my life. We're old friends, Crazy and I. "Inseparable" suits the relationship, really. I am very excited about our own room at POP Century, though. If we don't need a getaway, no problem. If we do...STILL NO PROBLEM.

I'm so glad you loved BOG!! I'm so happy I got it, and I am particularly impressed that I was able to get it on only the 3rd day of my trip!! I'm sorry the characters at 1900 PF weren't the best. I would love to meet Mary Poppins, but I'm hoping to do it at MK or EPCOT. I'll have to catch up on your TR for that story!

The gift reminds me of standing outside the bridge to Beast's Castle while watching Wishes two years ago. I felt like I was AT that point in my most favorite Disney movie (and may have started crying a little....) If you don't want to deal with the crowds out front in the Hub then head back there; it's still a gorgeous show!

Karen Hallion's shirts are awesome! I ordered Merida, opened it, put it in the wash and.... have not seen it since. Dressing as the Dovahkiin from Skyrim could be fun or Link from Zelda, maybe even a Hobbit! DSis and I are going to take at least a couple days and do that "Disneybounding". We did a few last time (minorly, like wearing blue for Elsa) and it was fun. *edit* Oh, if we went at Christmas, I'd definitely figure out something Nutcracker-inspired.

Yeah, I'm just glad it was a REALLY slow day at work. Most people took Monday off because we all had Veteran's Day anyway, so nobody ever came to the service window and needed me, no books were on the shelf for updates....I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH DISNEY. ALL DAY.

And now I'm just glad it's all sorted. Now I just have to wait four months before I find out whether I can make our all of our wildest fast pass dreams come true.
