Thrill Seekers In Park Quest Question

A friend of mine just got back from WDW and while she was there did the quests for me.

For the Thrill Seekers Quest, she was unable to redeem the completed quest at the Magic Kingdom. They told her that she had to turn it in at Animal Kingdom. since they had already gone to Animal Kingdom they did not have time to return there to turn in the quests.

when I went last year, we turned them in at VMK Central.

Is this a new twist in the quest redemtion? It really sounded a little off to me. They gave her the Thrill Seekers Quest Pin but not the Kali Couch or Jungle Room.

Just curious as we are going ourselves in August and I want to plan accordingly.

Actually we were there in December. The Thrill Seeker Quest has to be stamped at the Kali River Rapids Ride in Animal Kingdom to get all three cards. You dont have to actually get on the ride and get soaked just go to the entrance of the ride and ask a cast member to stamp it for you. After its stamped you have to return to Magic Kingdom and vmk Central to redeem it and get the cards.

Actually, she was fortunate to get the Thrill Seekers Pin. We have done this quest twice and both times we had to get the first part stamped before the second,MK, part can be done. When we tried to do just the MK part before heading over to AK, we were told VMK Central was out of the Thrill Seekers Pin anyway so we had to come back another time. So, we waited to do it again and after getting the AK part stamped we headed over to MK and got the set.

Wow, I'm glad I asked. Thank you for your replies.

In September 2006, we did the quest and did not have to get it stamped at AK, just handed it in at MK. (Maybe we were suppose to but noone said anything)

Now we will know and will definately have to plan an AK day before an MK day!

Do you know if you can only have one per person stamped? Reason I ask..my parents are coming with us to MK but not to AK and I had planned on each of them turning in a quest for the kids to have extra.

No - they will gladly stamp as many as you hand them.
