Thrifty rental car prices really low!

Just an FYI....Thrifty car rental prices for a mid-size have dropped really low for end of August. I've been checking weekly and they are at the lowest right now.......$94.50 for the week and only an additional $15 for each add'l day. Total for 8/24-8/31 comes to $149.74 after all fees/taxes, etc.... Haven't looked at other categories, but I assume they are low as well!

I saw that too - I already have a car booked w/National for $25 more for my time period. I'm torn about changnig as National is on-site & Thrifty is off.

I am thinking the extra $25 is worth is to not have to take the shuttle with two toddlers, luggage & two strollers!

9/29 - 10/5: intermediate booked w/National is $150; a full-size at Thrifty is $125

Has anyone used Thrifty? Good? Bad? Problems?

We used thrifty and it was just as nice as other companies we've used. After having flown with two little ones and their stuff, I'd probably spend $25 for the convience of on-site car rental.

Are you an Emerald Club member? If you are then, chances are, there will be some full size cars on the aisle. I'd recommend going with National.

szymon - yes we are. We reserved the intermediate size in the Emerald Aisle. I'll be fine with an intermediate, but am silently hoping for something bigger!
