We always have rented at an airport car company but tried Thrifty this year because of the difference in cost. We had a mid-size for $124 for a week with all taxes included where all of the airport cars were over $210/week for the same size car. Yes, you do have to board a bus but the ride is very short, maybe a mile or two. We received a Dodge (can't remember the model) with 12,000 miles, very large and in great condition. No complaints with Thrifty, no hard sell on insurance or anything else (although they did try and sell us additional insurance). My only concern is the bus drivers. They want tips. When we tipped the driver a dollar for carrying a couple of bags from the the rack in the bus to the curb, he didn't look happy or even say thank you. Happened on both rides, to and from the airport and Thrifty. Kind of surly.

LOL you must've got the same driver as us:) He didn't get a tip just the way it worked out I was busy with the kids or something before I could get him a tip and he kinda made a noise of some sort;) Ohwell :goodvibes The car and price were awsome though!!!

:earseek: First ME drivers, now the shuttle drivers? Holy toledo, where does it end?
