We always have rented at an airport car company but tried Thrifty this year because of the difference in cost. We had a mid-size for $124 for a week with all taxes included where all of the airport cars were over $210/week for the same size car. Yes, you do have to board a bus but the ride is very short, maybe a mile or two. We received a Dodge (can't remember the model) with 12,000 miles, very large and in great condition. No complaints with Thrifty, no hard sell on insurance or anything else (although they did try and sell us additional insurance). My only concern is the bus drivers. They want tips. When we tipped the driver a dollar for carrying a couple of bags from the the rack in the bus to the curb, he didn't look happy or even say thank you. Happened on both rides, to and from the airport and Thrifty. Kind of surly.
