Thrifty Car Rental any hidden charges?

I booked a minivan rental with Thrifty for $169.74 per week January 21/07. We have our own insurance and we will bring a copy with us. Are there any hidden costs that I need to know about?

Does that price include all the taxes and surcharges? If so, that is what you will pay. The only "hidden" charge is if you don't return it with a full tank of gas, if you don't chose the prepaid gas option.
They may put a hold on your credit card for more than the rental. You might want to check the web site for that information. Be aware that Thrifty is offsite at MCO. You will need to take a shuttle to get the car.
Bringing proof of insurance is good, but, you probably will not need it.

The only time I ever had a price increase from Thrifty's quote was when a tax was put in place after I got my ressie. No hidden prices, but they are likely to try to upsell you. No harm in bringing your insurance info, but I never needed it with Thrifty. You might want to consider joioning their "Blue Chip" club right on their website . . . it will save you time on pickup.

Joining Blue Chip not only saves you time, but also saves you the hassle of the "upsell" and the insurance sales pitch.

When you made your Thrifty res, you should have gotten a total that broke down the taxes and fees and listed them all. Beyond those, there are no additional charges.
