OK...here's the deal: November 2-6 -- 11 of us - ME, wife, our 2 kids (15 and 12), my sister, her husband and son (10), my other sister and her husband, and our mothers (70 and 80). SuperSaver rate of $191 per room.

Flights - Direct from Newport News, VA on Airtran. (My mother has never flown! The scotch is ready!)

Transport - FL Tours will pick up at airport

Lowes First - All have registered and entered gift preferences.

Luau - ressies complete

Emeril's - ressies complete

Four rooms with two sets connecting. Requested lobby level...not sure which tower (help here, please).

Tickets - $86 dollar deal for kiosk pick-up.

What am I missing? Any special requests that I should make? Your collective thoughts, please.

Thanks,

RLM

:thumbsup2 Be sure to ask at check-in...any upgrades available!!Where in VA are you??We also fly out of NN...my parents still live in Denbigh! We are about 40 min. away.Have a great time!:rotfl2: We were there in Aug. at HRH.

Are you opting for the grocery store stop? If so, grab a styrofoam cooler (in beer or water aisle) and ice (at checkout) and put water and sodas in it at your room. Get snacks for the room too...and some beer/wine...if that's your thing. If you plan to walk to the parks, you want Tower 1. (Tower 2 is the 'pet' tower) and Tower 3 is closest to boat dock. You will get floor 3, as floor 3 is the lobby level...1 and 2 are below the lobby...you go out to the pool from 1 and restaurant is down there). The only other thing I think you're missing is the "stress-free" zone you are "supposed" to be in :thumbsup2 You got it all covered....you're ready! Oh...wait....AAA card?? If you're a member, show it at retail stores and dining for discounts....

The two sets of adjoining rooms will likely prohibit an upgrade. We always prefer an upper floor of Tower 1 to get the park view but lobby level our favorite is Tower 3 because the hallway's terminating vista is an elephnat statue with the orchid court background. The King suite on that floor is great with pool view. By Emeril's ressies do you means RPR's Tchoup Chop? That is what I'd recommend. Lunch is rarely busy and we got in earlier this month without ressies. Ask to see if there are any lunch special because when I did they brought a different menu. I got an appetizer (crunchy shrimp), an entre (turbo wok filet tips) and desert (chocolate cake, banana, carmel thing) all for $19.
With that size party you might have a bottle-neck in the bathroom. The way I solve that is to visit the gym where Loew's First will get you in free. They open at 6 a.m. and whenever I have gone there is never anyone in the co-ed whirlpool that is accessed through the locker rooms. After a soak you can use one of the three showers (big). They have most of the necessary toiletries as well. Take a toothbrush.
Request turndown service.
