3. Red and pink roses. My Mom’s favorite were red. My Dad was very romantic and would give her long-stemmed red roses just because, not just on Valentine’s Day. My favorite roses are pink, as are my daughter’s. I planted a rose garden similar to the one my Mother grew at my childhood home in memory of my parents.

Afternoon all,

Loving the slippers and matching toes! @Summer2018

1. My red electric blanket - I have a checked electric blanket that has various shades of red, and it's something I couldn't live without in the winter!

2. Dusky pink accessories - dusky pink is a big feature in my living room and I have a lot of accessories from cushions to candles, drapes etc in this colour as well as it featuring in my wallpaper.

3. Strawberry & raspberry flavoured foods/drinks - strawberry and raspberry are two of my favourite flavours, and you can usually guarantee anything with these is pink or red in colour (either physically or in the packaging). 🍓

💕 Happy VDay 💕

#1 - MY RED HAIR DYE - I just use box dye, nothing special. I really like this color and I hope it never gets discontinued.

#2 - MY PINK & RED PAJAMA PANTS - Red is my favorite color, so I was excited when I found these.

#3 - MY RED BATHROBE - So cozy and warm

Azaleas- ours always bloom around Valentine’s Day. I noticed the blooms when we got home today.

My hair- I’m a natural brunette but I favor dyes with red because it makes my hazel eyes look olive green. Which is kind of fun because my eyes were medium brown when I was younger. My hair is currently a deep auburn and I guess it’s good because even DD17s friends really like it.

Reading glasses- Back in August, my brown pair broke in the Dallas airport. I found a fun red pair at a Walgreens in Montana while we were away. I get so many compliments on them…more than any of the designer frames I own.

Good Sunday Morning

#1 - TAPE (ANY TAPE) - It’s so handy for so many things. It’s on my list to buy since I just used up most of our scotch tape when wrapping some gifts,

#2 - SYRUP - I’m always grateful for syrup when I have pancakes, French toast, Eggos and etc. I love flavored syrups, but never buy them, because I don’t use it enough and they’ll just get old and go bad.

#3 - BANDAIDS/BANDAGES - I’m always grateful for bandaids when I cut myself, which luckily doesn’t happen very often. I thought of these because I was organizing our first aid box yesterday and we have so many huge bandages from DD22’s softball days. That girl would skin up her legs from sliding so bad that even the largest bandages were to small. I’d have to buy large thin maxi pads and put those on her leg and wrap an ace bandage around it to keep it in place. Worked like a charm :thumbsup2

1. Wisconsin is the first place my Grandparents lived when they came to the United States from Malmo, Sweden. They moved to New England when my Father was a baby.

2. I go through sticky notes like water at both home and especially at school. I am a visual learner, and I need notes posted in front of my face. I love them in bright colors. When I order a large rainbow package, I keep the blues at home because they match my beachy decor. The pinks and purples are at my desk and small group work table. My Paraprofessional gets the rest for her use.

3. I can’t think of anything else that is sticky or anything relevant to Wisconsin, so I will go with things that begin with “Ww” which is also the letter of the week in my classroom: Water, whales, waffles, wardrobe, wine, and windows.

1. Real Maple Syrup- we would tap the trees and boil down the sap when I was a child. It tastes delicious!
2. Fresh honey from the hive- Dad also had a honey bee colony that he kept for pollinating our large garden. My mom would always give me a piece of the fresh comb with honey in it. So delicious!
3. Glue tape and glue dots for making cards.

Afternoon all,

1. Sticky toffee pudding - one of the best desserts out there, especially when paired with ice cream 😋

2. Super glue - I use this to repair a lot of things that get broken accidentally, making them good as new!

3. Nail wraps - I discovered the gel version of these a couple of years ago and became obsessed. Unfortunately I then developed a rather severe gel allergy and have since after a lot of searching found a classic polish wrap that actually lasts! Not only are they super easy to apply, they look fab and last around 2 weeks (if not longer). The below are my current nails 11 days in
