I'm going to pay homage to the least used room in our house that's about to get a little more love, since the holidays are almost upon us and this is its big time to shine...the Formal Dining Room
China Cabinet - To me, it's like my own grown up treasure chest. While I can't display my flatware in there because it would tarnish, I can pass by and admire all of the other pretty stuff, including the memories tied to some of the inherited pieces and gifts from family and friends that are no longer with us.
Table & Chairs - Ok, the chairs aren't the greatest, but I'll start with them because they get a festive holiday upgrade. Several years ago, I bought chair covers that are red with snowflakes. I have these really pretty pine garlands I put down the sides of the table that has all kinds of little pine cones and such that are battery operated and on a timer. So whenever those turn on, it really makes the chairs pop. Ultimately, I'm a huge fan of the table because it has its leaf built in. So, no storage required.
TV - Look, I know not everyone is a fan of tv while dining, but sometimes it's the holiday programming that helps set the mood and bring everyone together. Alternately, I can use the tv to play a Spotify holiday playlist. Either way, I got the tv as a 20th anniversary gift from work about 8 years ago and it's made the holidays in that room more fun. The tv does not get a ton of use but that's OK.
