Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Monday Morning

Let me tell you…..I love noodles!

Welcome to @NannyBeBe

#1 - Spinach Lasagna Roll Ups - I found this recipe on the Kraft website many years ago and I make them a few times a year - especially during Lent.

#2 - Fettuccine Alfredo - I look forward to this when we go to a good Italian restaurant. Homemade Alfredo sauce is amazing and I love it!

#3 - Beef Stroganoff - I make a great beef stroganoff and I use brown egg noodles that I can only find at Meijer. No other store around here sells them.

I'm going for noodles...

Beef Chow Fun - This was a staple for me growing up. It was the specialty of a school friend's family's Chinese restaurant. It wasn't until we moved away that we learned that this is a real treat and that most places don't even bother because of the labor intensive and timely prep involved with the noodles.

Pasta Carbonara - While still hearty, it's a bit lighter than an Alfredo and usually has some veggies (peas) in it for some extra nutrients.

Pho & Ramen - It's not my favorite to eat, but it's the backbone of some funny softball trip jokes for our girls. They love the stuff but the parents never want it. Several times, we were in parking lots trying to decide to go one place or move on, often passing completely on a pho or ramen spot right in front of us. The girls would end up satisfying their cravings by running to a convenience store for the cheap stuff after real dinner.

Evening all,

Not the biggest fan of noodles but pasta however is something I can't live without!

1. Spaghetti carbonara
2. Meatball tagliatelle

These first two are my two favourite long pasta related dishes that I make quite often.

3. Taper candles - bit left field this one but i love sticking these in empty wine bottles, such good decorations.

When the citrus 🍋 🍋 🍊 🍊 🍋 🍋 🍊 🍊 🍋 🍋 🍋 is ready to harvest a long pole with a cage at the end is used to harvest the very top citrus. The top half of the cage is cut in half leaving prongs to slide under and then pull... not easy... but the best fruit is always at the top of the tree... other tool is a Hulu how for use in sandy yards
