Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Me- I don’t know if I’m so much of an invention as a creation, but I’m often looking to reinvent myself and it’s my birthday today… so, me

Air conditioning- I don’t know how people managed here without it. I recall having none in various homes in the northeast and how we’d be melting if there was a heatwave.

Wireless headphones- I like my music loud and at all hours of the day/night. I also like to take it with me for exercise. It’s great not being tethered to a device by a cord or finding a suitable speaker volume to appease everyone.

When it comes to inventions I could probably come up with an incredibly long list as I'm so grateful in general for the modern age in general. However if I have to pick 3, I'd go with the 3 I use most often on a daily basis:

1. Fitness tracker/smart watch
2. Wireless headphones
3. Dishwasher

This design:

* A LED flashlight that sits upright on my nightstand.. because my bedroom floor is carpeted with dogs.. so don't have to fumble with those vintage round ones that roll off into the he midnight dark

* Self checkout.. just grab device and scan the watermelon, milk, case of water and paper towels and listening to the machine scream as it AI can't imagine those products in your shopping cart

*AFV Sunday night and all those folks holding such a device and breaking everything in their homes as they swing.....the banana peel of this century

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! It's been a great day with friends and getting to eat/drink a number of the things I've cut out or limited for so long (the progress/energy/healthy feeling is worth it). Good thing my parents bought me a weighted vest as my gift

Happy Belated Birthday @TiggerTrigger

I’m picking sweet things….

#1 - DILLY BARS - I had one last night. I always have a box of them, and I only eat one on a Saturday night. They are just the right amount of ice cream for me to enjoy without to many calories.

#2 - NUTRI GRAIN BARS - I’m eating one right now. The filling is sweet and these bars are perfect for me to eat before I go to the gym, which I’m doing in about a half hour.

#3 - BUTTER BEER - I’ll be having one later today. We are going to Chicago today and will be visiting the new Harry Potter store and there’s a Butter Beer Bar there. DD21 has never had a Butter Beer, so I gotta have her try one.

1. Warm Chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven
2. Cake and cupcakes
3. Warm apple crisp with or without vanilla ice cream
4. Toasted marshmallows over a campfire

both were set in Connecticut.

Great Value Chocolate Chip mini muffins from Walmart are sure tasty and a perfect size, too.

Afternoon everyone! I wouldn't say no to a frozen Butterbeer right now...

I have a very sweet tooth so my 3 are going to be very generic as I just can't narrow it down

1. Cakes & bakes - brownies, cookies, scones, sponges and cakes of any type, muffins, traybakes. Anything!

2. Desserts - anything that doesnt fit into the above category will usually fit into this one. Tarts, pies, puddings, mousses, gateaus.

3. Chocolate - chocolate bars, bags of shareable chocs, mini healthy(ish) snack bar versions, boxes of Ferrero Rocher, Nutella... I could go on

Well... it's off season and no buzz this hive at Kroger... chunks of sweet combs.. and I know the truth... nothing there good for me ... Proverbs 25:27...it is not good to eat much honey... alas Psalm 19..the Truth of the lord (wow AI) is true... sweeter than honey drippings of the honey comb.... so I bought the very rare offering of apple fritter
