Tires I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again you need a good set of tires and nothing will teach you that better than having a bad set of tires

Pie I love pie I just hate making it I prefer homemade pie and it’s such a pain to make one I mean it’s not hard it’s just a pain - peeling all those apples cutting up all those apples making the crust not eating all the apples before you put them in the pie and then waiting for the thing to cool off so I can set before you cut it open to eat it ( I think that’s the hardest part)

I was going to say donuts because I do love donuts… but

I’m going to say swimming pools because I have very fun memories of having a round swimming pool when I was a kid it wasn’t a true swimming pool not in the sense that you think about swimming pool these days but it was a big round galvanized circle that we get to use as our swimming pool I couldn’t really do much swimming in it but it was really nice to be able to lounge in it during the summer when it was 1,000,000° outside with 1,000,000% humidity

Of course Mr. Stephen King and my love of reading and the fact that I was really hungry this morning and strange things made me think of food in the strange foods that I enjoy eating

So round things...

1. Ferrero Rocher - one of my favourite chocolates, they're so tasty and such a nice treat. Always difficult to eat just one.

2. Cookies - especially homemade NYC style cookies, any flavour will do so long as they're soft in the middle and crispy round the edges.

3. Round food in general - I've realised that a lot of nice food is round: pizza, burgers, chocolate buttons, Maltesers, pancakes, eggs, cakes, pies. Everything I enjoy!

It's Friday and I've been craving food I shouldn't have, hence the very food centric gratitude today

Happy Friday Friends

I love a good donut and I’m looking forward to having one next weekend when I help with donut morning at our church.

#1 - Fruity Cheerios - I’m eating them for breakfast this morning

#2 - Emojis - I use them everyday. My favorites are

#3 - I also say Tires - You don’t realize how grateful you are for good tires until you have a flat tire

Another unusual thing... I leave my outdoor Christmas lights up all year and USE them. I love sitting under the multi-color glow on a warm summer evening, cocktail in hand, fire in the pit, surrounded by friends and family.

Round things:
Food: Cookies, cakes, pies, donuts, bagels, pizza. Does a scoop of ice cream count??

Celestial bodies: Planets, suns, moons. We tend to be space nerds around here.

My watch. I don't have a cell phone and people are tired of me asking what time it is, so I got a watch with a round face and actual numbers. I didn't realize how much I love wearing my watch until last week, when condensation collected under the crystal and I couldn't read it! Fortunately it dried out and I can use it again!

While on the topic of tires (or tyres in the UK), can they get extortionately expensive in the States? And do you have run flat tyres?

While I'm grateful for my tyres, that gratitude is short lived when I recall how much it costs me to replace punctured ones

Cake pans - I use my round pans more than any other shape.

Measuring cups - My mom gave me her old orange Tupperware set and I really like them above all others.

Sun - It looks pretty round from where I can see it and we need it...even though it's going to bake us into the triple digits this weekend while we also endure high humidity.

Buying tires..
First consideration is the waiting room... how much do want to pay for the TV furniture and free water

Second consideration is the chain that sells tires going to be available on your long trip

Third.. does the tire store contribute to the community by sponsoring an event

So Walmart provides none of the above so less inclined to buy their cheap tires

So I bought the best that money could buy from a national chain in fear of Arizona summer heat and strong guarantee road hazard...so expensive they still remember me though my face is highly disfigured so hard not to remember me..

If in Oregon I would purchase from a regional chain as they give back to the community exceedingly and great customer service...yes they are expensive

You received what you paid for when it comes to tires...I don't think that they are expensive for the quality of life and fear

So did you get any other vintage Tupperware...I have a rare orange square lidded caddy.. I use a vintage white plastic measuring pitcher to receive the ice from the bag in the freezer to be crushed for coffee beverage... Nice ROUND vessel with handle.....lots of vintage Tupperware here in Yuma.. the rummage sale had a fantastic 20 pc set in good shape... display in the treasure section of the sale..so spendy

DOUGHNUTS ..we have one major retail road in our bizarre community that in 2 blocks has 3 business that sell fresh doughnuts and additional 5 business that sell boxed doughnuts..I believe that is worth a world record if I can just get ROUND to call Gusiness records

CHOCOLATE
My chocolate coffee that seems to have disappeared off the face of the Earth even though Google keeps telling me it’s still available I don’t know where you can buy it because I can’t seem to find it anywhere even Amazon doesn’t have it - I’m going to treasure my last three bags because I think they’re going to be the last three bags for a very long time I’m very grateful for my chocolate coffee ️

Chocolate Cake - huge fan here I don’t have it very often but I do love chocolate cake

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups best pairing in the world chocolate and peanut butter ymmv - I could eat my weight in these !! I’m very grateful the holiday seasons are over in the big fat Reese’s won’t be out again until Halloween because those are the ones I love the most regular or OK but I tend not to buy those which is good for the diet but the big fat thick ones I have a hard time resisting those and if I happen to see one with the potato chips in them well all bets are off I’ll be snatching one of those because they are delicious very grateful for my favorite candy

Bonus - chocolate cover - really insert item here - potato chips Pretzels / various nuts marshmallows I can keep doing this love chocolate huge fan very grateful

Cowboy museum..in my experiences it's the best artifact museum and I have seen many. Could be that cowboys were part of my baby boomers history. Very professional and multi media.. something any visitor could enjoy

I'm a chocoholic so I don't think I can name just 3 chocolate things I'm grateful for. So I'll just say that I'm grateful for chocolate in every and any form that it comes in, whether chocolate bars, sharing bags, cookies, cakes, desserts etc

The only chocolate I'm not grateful for is anything with peanuts in it, as I don't like them
