Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Happy start of another week

I’m going with orange, since I can’t eat almost all fruit.

#1 - Pumpkins - I love my indoor pumpkin decorations, and real pumpkins that decorate my front porch.

#2 - Orange Vitamin Water - I absolutely love it, and I’d drink a lot of it on early travel ball mornings.

#3 - Orange Mums - I love all mums actually. It’s hard to believe we’ll be seeing them available to buy in a month or so.

Paint color in my room it’s an orange yellow to me it’s a nice calming happy color and I love it❤️ I’m so grateful that someone showed it to me a long long time ago

Pumpkins - I am not a fan of pumpkin pie I do like pumpkin bars and I love decorating the pumpkins for fall and for Halloween🎃

The color orange 🍊- it really looks good on me and I like wearing it when I can find shirts in that color !!

Happy new week (love how you put that dear Slo:hug:) friends.

Slo, orange flowers are cheerful and bright indeed. My late elderly friend Dean from church loved the color orange as did Peter, a preschooler of mine when he was two. Peter recently would have turned 21! I pray he and of course all kiddos that God has blessed me with knowing, learning from, and loving are happy, healthy, and in strong faith.

Dear WDWEPCOT:hug:, I also don't like pumpkin pie or really anything pumpkin flavored. Dad enjoys both. I once had an orange T shirt :)

Orange color in a sunrise, summer sky, or rainbow are such graces to me from God to be able to see. All color is.

Dad enjoys fresh squeezed orange juice sometimes.

Kraft singles are orange. My favorite Kroger brand pancake mix box from Ralphs has orange on it, too.

Not orange, but how grateful I am for Sprouts Original Applesauce which I enjoy daily.

Sweet and bright Monday hug to all.

I have a strange relationship with the color orange. I never wear it and it is not one of my favorite colors. Before we took our WDW trip in 2017 for our first time going to MNSSHP I spent a lot of time looking at MK photos and trying to appreciate orange more. (I much prefer Christmas colors) Anyhow, in spite of what I’ve just said, I start every day eating an orange and some mango as well. Love the orange MM wreaths that decorate the MK during the Halloween celebrations. Plus, one my favorite Bath and Body Works soaps is orange: Purrfect Pumpkin!

NNNNN

I was appreciating something , the other day, that began with "n" and thinking I must remember this for when "n" comes up here and..... .........I've forgotten what it was!!! 🤣🤣 Anyway: -

Niceness. Nice news. Nice smells. Nice posts. Nice music. Nice People. ...Nice is underrated.

Na'an bread. Nachos.

Nature.

Also, that slightly orange/gold hue of the moon when it's low in the sky.

All the Fall things
Yes! - I'm a fall girl through and through - born in October and lover of all things crisp, orange, and autumn-scented!

For orange, I'm grateful for Jack-'o-lanterns, "harvest" candles, and beautiful fall leaves.

For fruits - the thread-inspiring mangoes, blueberries, and cotton candy grapes!! (...which are only around for a short time here, and that time is now :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: .)

Orange

Syracuse 🍊- self explanatory
Orange County Great Park- We’re playing at some really nice fields in Orange County, CA. The complex even has a giant orange balloon, like the Characters in Flight one in Disney Springs
Halloween decorations-one of my favorites to really make me happy and festive.

Fruit
Tropical fruits- especially passion fruit, pineapple, mango and guava
Melon- honeydew is my favorite
Frozen grapes- a great summer treat

Holy Cow! Come visit WA where they grow everywhere. If left alone they will take over and swallow anything in their path.
They do grow wild here, but the season is short. I can also find them in farm markets, but they are about $6 for the tiniest box.

I like red raspberries and blackberries also, but nothing compares to black raspberries.

It's both...

so Today's Topic (Tues, 7/23) is another "take your pick" - 3 fancy things you're grateful for, or 3 plain things you're grateful for

Good Tuesday Morning

I’m not a plain thing girl, so I’ll go with fancy….

#1 - Martinis - I love a good, fancy flavored martini 🍸. I don’t get them often, only on special occasions. They are sooooo…..good!

#2 - Sparkly Things - I love fancy sparkly things - I’m drawn to it like a moth to a light 😂. DD20 calls them…Sandy items 😂 When my girls were little they loved the store Justice, and so did I - they were in sparky glittery clothes all the time - LOL!

#3 - Tuxedos - I love seeing my DH in a tuxedo. I actually like seeing all men in tuxedos - they are just so dapper looking (there’s a term not used much in 2024 - LOL) I’m grateful for the pictures I have from our wedding and cruises where my DH is in a tuxedo - so handsome :goodvibes

Purses - I like fancy purses they don’t have to be big brands or high-end just fancy cool looking purses - original looking not like every other purse out there

Sneakers - I go for loud colorful sneakers I never buy white or black I must have color I have bought solid yellow once but they were a special pair for a special reason I like colorful sneakers

My decorating - I’m a person who likes color / I’ll go for a nice vibrant bold colors Throw things together that most people would think that cannot possibly go together and lotta times you can make it work you just gotta try white walls are not for me ymmv that’s fine but I like colorful things

Happy Tuesday friends :)

I have come to I pray better appreciate plain, simple, every day moments as the grace they are to dad and I from God.

I am the plainest eater you may ever know. Dad is the total opposite!

I do enjoy colorful sneakers with sometimes colored shoelaces too.

I am not terribly fancy, but there are some fancier things I like:
1. Nail polish—I have polish on my toes almost all year round. I like how it looks and do it myself. Last month I had both my fingers and toes done at the salon as we had a family wedding followed by a trip for my daughter’s sport followed by our family vacation. I did dip nails on my fingers and gel on my toes. They looked nice for weeks. The gel still looks decent. I just soaked the dip off yesterday. I might try to learn to do it myself.
2. Christmas decorations—I love a fancy tree.
3. Candles—I like to burn scented candles. Those feel fancy to me.
