Dad grew up during the mid 40s and 50s.

Years ago, we had Johnny Rockets out here which had tasty old fashioned milkshakes and other diner fare as did a small restaurant briefly in a small town when I lived in Northern, CA.

Gray or black

1. Storm clouds. I LOVE a good thunderstorm.

2. My Odyssey minivan. We couldn't go on vacation without it because of all the stuff we bring!

3. The gray in my hair. I feel like I've earned it. Half the time I don't try to cover it.

My sprinkles of grey hair. “Do not complain about growing old. It is a privilege denied to many.” This is perhaps the quote that has most changed my perspective on aging. I've lost a lot of people in the past three years. So every day is a gift!

TGIF!!!!

#1 - I’m grateful for my Hybrid RAV4, which is a grey/silver - the gas mileage is awesome, which really helps with us driving 5 hours every weekend to watch DD19’s games.

#2 - I’m grateful for my black coffee every morning - I can’t start the game without it.

#3 - I’m grateful for my black flannel lined jeans - they are sooooooo nice when I’m sitting outside Feb - April watching DD19’s games.

My black / grey deco - no I’m not goth - I’ve have African themed rooms so they are dark - I love zebras

My walls are grey color - I find it calming - it’s not a dull grey - not battleship grey that I don’t care for -

I will say one of my DD painted a wall black - omg that was a nightmare trying to repaint that wall - the number of coats of primer - I lost count she did it when I was on vacation solid dark black - don’t do it !

Friday Good Morning everyone

I do prefer brighter colors to grey and black. This daily question is reminding me to absolutely give added thanks to God for:

1 Being able to have healthy eyes that can read black print found upon pages of my Bible to lighthearted books to most anything including greeting cards and all of our daily kind posts

2 Champ was mostly white with grey and black patches especially as a puppy.

3 TV remote is black with mostly white buttons.

My first new car I bought was a black Thunderbird in 1995. I loved that car, but had to trade when we had DD1 - just not easy to get car seats in and out!

Our gray walls in our house. We chose it because it's a neutral color and easy to decorate around. I still love it!

Gray is DHs favorite color, so when I see nice gray shirts, cars, trucks, etc, it always makes me think of him!
