1. Cross-stitch. I like to make things, as long as my hands hold out. They cramp up pretty easy now-a-days. Right now, I'm making ornaments. I did a bunch of angels on clothespins a long time ago (with cross stitch dresses). I like doing them on fabric, but the ones I'm doing now are on plastic canvas (which I like to do too).Today's Topic (Mon. 11/14) - 3 Hobbies or Activities You're Grateful For

3. Playing the piano. I said last time, I'm not very good at it; but it keeps me busy. I haven't been able to play the last month or so (I fell and hurt my wrists; then a few days ago, I sliced the nail off my left pointer finger...both kept me from all my hobbies, so I need to make up for it, haha).
Gardening! How did I forget that?...
3. The DIS. Have made some great friends on here, and I am so glad that I found these forums almost 21 1/2 years ago (wow, where did all that time go)
I sure hope you are healing, and that you can get back to your favorite activities soon.…

Hah. between the piano, the housework, the yardwork, the laundry and now the cross stitch...we are two peas in a pod!3 Hobbies or Activities You're Grateful For
1. @Bianca and Bernard --another thing we have in common. I love to cross stitch (hence my screen name). I can't do it as often any more as my old eyes get tired, but I still do it now and then.
2. Gardening. I start my plants from seeds every year, till the garden and plant it myself, and harvest all the goodies

All healed up from the fall, and healed enough from slicing my nail that I can do things with that pointer finger again! DH panicked when it happened, and made me go to the ER...where the bleeding stopped as soon as they called me back to triage. LOL He was all "you need stitches!!!" and I was "no, there is nothing to stitch....I sliced a piece off!"I sure hope you are healing, and that you can get back to your favorite activities soon.
