Today's Topic (Sun 1/22) - 3 things you're grateful for...with patterns

I don't have much with polka dots, so...different patterns it is.

1. My new Kate Spade purses, which have spades patterned on the inside of them. I didn't realize they had the spades (expected the polka dots). (Are they real? Hopefully, as I bought them directly from KS, but...regardless, they are nice and I got them for about 70% off, so...)

2. Two of my little fuzzy blankets from Kohls. They have a lemon pattern.

3. My DH's new 'Friday Hawaiian' shirt. Got it at RSVLTS (link) It's a pattern of jungle tree leaves. and every once in a while, a pair of yellow eyes, in a raptor head. Great shirts, btw; we do have to buy a size up, fyi.

Pattern Things:

1. Christmas quilt I use in my bed—it’s red plaid.
2. I like the patterns people mow in their grass in the summer—looks fancy.
3. China I inherited—love the pretty blue pattern on that.

My aunt gifted me a patchwork throw she made for me for a recent(ish) birthday. I was really touched and I love it!

And I'm a big fan of patterns in nature

I have patterned grass - it’s spotted grass - curtesy of my dog - it’s permanent too !! Spots everywhere

I also LOVE polka dots - always have!

1. I'm grateful for my new nightgown that's black with white polka dots. I actually forgot I had it until yesterday when I cleaned out my pajama drawer lol!
2. I'm grateful for my blue with white polka dots capri pants. I don't wear them too often, but I do love them!
3. I'm grateful for my bedside lamp - it has a blue lampshade with large white polka dots

Ooh another Polka Dot fan yeah !! I’ve not found many - I just think they are so much fun !!! Every time I see clothing with polka dots I buy it nine out of ten times !!

Fleece tie blanket my sister made me with cats and cat-related phrases on it. My downstairs cat is also grateful for this blanket, as it's on my lap more often than not when I watch TV.

Fabric stores. I've whiled away a fair amount of time there, paging through Buttermilk, Vogue and Simplicity books, pawing through bolts of fabric and perusing volumes of stitchery projects, dreaming of the beautiful things I could create with some direction, some thread and some time.

Hallmark, other brand, and homemade greeting cards.

Helping others, I pray, along with being able to better ask for help as needed. Healing and humblesness, humility.

I am not a fan of the food but dad enjoys it sometimes as does our friendly bear Hunny!
