Three Things...Gratitude Thread

(Products/Tools/Routines that you're grateful for because they help you stay organized or make your life easier)

1) my phone! - I definitely use the reminder app, calendar, etc. every day

2) bins and baskets - I like to corral things so the piles can't spread

3) bulletin boards - i love tacking up quotes, tickets/invitations, etc. we even have a small one where we hang our masks

I also am an organized person pretty much and in fact pre Covid enjoyed helping some elderly church friends with various household organizing and paring down/sorting of stuff. I'd enjoy doing that again one day when this awful pandemic is behind us.

1 My 13-section pink file folder (meant for coupons that I use to sort stickers into different categories. I chose this as the stickers inside, I pray, allow me to spread a dash of extra witness, faith, and cheer through happy mail.

2 Definitely various slider bags, dad and I get Up&Up Brand from Target.

3 Various bookcases to cabinets that dad and I are grateful for especially right now to house extra nonperishables and household items, And of course our bookshelves and cabinets for books!

This is just what I need to get back on with the minimalizing and organizing I was getting on with until Christmas distracted me!

Grateful for: -

Veg Storage in fridge: I got this https://www.lakeland.co.uk/26728/lakeland-large-fridge-store-4l for veg (along with a large locknlock) when reorganizing the fridge. Now veg isn't hidden (and forgotten 😢) at the bottom of the fridge and it lasts so much better anyway. Plus, the cheese is in the old veg drawer and it's much happier, there. Win/win! :D

Basket drawers: Several years ago, after moving house, I came across baskets that perfectly fit and match as 'drawers' on a shelf unit I already had. I still appreciate that. ...And they had six, which was just what I needed. They look like they've always been together!

The Minimal Mom: Her approach to clearing out excess -- and finding more space again 😍 -- has really helped me.

Now, I would really appreciate it if The Container Store crossed the ocean over to the UK.

Good Sunday Morning!
Sorry I’ve been MIA on this thread.

#1 - I’m grateful for going to Mass (leaving soon for 9:30am Mass)

#2 - I’m grateful for my Mom - I love her so much

#3 - I’m grateful for my Medicine. The Entyvio I get through an IV has kept my UC in remission for almost 2 years which is huge for me.

Today's Topic (Sun 1/15) - 3 things you're grateful for that begin with M
1. M&Ms. Best potty training tool ever (other than Cheerios or fruit loops for a boy, haha)

2. melons

3. maps. I am directionally challenged, lol. Without some sort of map (whether paper, electronic, gps, whatever), I would get lost going from one room to another in my house!

M - hmmm can’t say it’s a favorite letter in my alphabet I’m still pondering ….,
Money - grateful I have some always wishing for more and working for it - grateful I can work to get it
Mortgage - grateful I got one for my house 🏠 - but again feels like it goes with money
Maintenance - grateful I can do some small things - trust me not my area of expertise
In any sense of the word 🤪
Maleficent & Magic - makes me think of Disney ❤️❤️ don’t all things return to Disney ? Refer back to money & job 🤣🤣

Beginning with M

Mothers. Sorry, I do have the best one ;);), but any of us lucky enough to have/have had (🌹) a really loving, caring mum/mom/ma/mummy are lucky indeed!

The Magic Kingdom. It may not be at its best lately, but I have such strong emotional, family, escapist, fun memories from being there. When you enter and find yourself at the top of Main Street... It certainly used to feel like a world away from the real world!

Music. All sorts.

Special mention for mmmm foods: maple syrup, mac & cheese, mango, melon, marshmallows, meatballs and, of course, as WDWEPCOT reminded me: M&Ms!!! :D

Today's Topic (1/10) - 3 things you're grateful for begging with the letter C
I know this is VERY late, but had to answer this one
1. Family whose names start w C: especially my son Chris, and my dear and wonderful mother, Carolyn, and one of my aunts
2. COFFEE! strong, dark, rich, I love my morning coffee.
3. Chocolate. especially delicious chocolate like Lindt
4. honorable mention just because I am a Star Wars nut, but the Clone Wars series. So well done, so much character development, lots of Ahsoka, and the finale episodes are incredible
