Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Hug Leebee and have a safe and wonderful time!

Our Sparkletts delivery man is always so kind to bring in our water and put the bottles where he knows we keep them. He also cares. Thinking of Sandro because he will bd coming later today.

Dad and I have a kind friend who works at Sprouts who often puts my favorite applesauce aside for us.

Amazon customer service is not always easy to connect with to chat. Representatives do kindly take time all day to do so. I appreciate that so much.

Turkey Tip - I had doubled back to the case the other day to check on so purchase conditions for turkeys. I ended up in a 4-way conversation over turkeys with random people. One man was kind enough to give me the run down on turkey prices and sizes he'd seen at other stores and which location he felt was the best option for one of those chains.

The first solo flight with two - DD18 was 2 and DD16 was no more than 5-6 months old (maybe a little younger) when I decided to fly to Florida with them to visit my parents. DH stayed home because he was starting a new job. It's a lot flying alone with one little one, but two is a real challenge. I waited for nearly everyone to exit the plane because it was a lot to put together and carry between kids and bags. A couple of the flight attendants jumped in and pretty much begged to hold the girls. They helped walk me off the plane and get them into the big stroller, which had been gate checked.

Decoration Compliments - I haven't gone all out this year on holiday decor and probably won't. In fact, ever since moving into this neighborhood...where there are contests and people take it really seriously, I haven't been as into it. Still, I like having something and I really appreciate it when my neighbors or random people passing by stop to say it looks great.

Oh @slo, Mickey already asked when you'd be back, hahaha! :smickey: MK was practically empty yesterday- I was on and off Mine Train in about 35 minutes, even though it was posted for 50min.
Next time you see him tell him it’ll be 115 days until I can give him a hug :goodvibes :smickey: (Sorcerer Mickey is my favorite Mickey).

I hope you’re having a very magical time.

Happy Thursday Everyone

#1 - Beignets At POFQ - I’m starting to plan our Walt Disney World itinerary, so I’ve been having beignets on the brain, because we make a special point to go to POFQ to get our very yummy beignets. I have very special memories of us doing this, and I look forward to making more special memories in the future.

#2 - Bananas - I’m always grateful for bananas, because it’s the only fruit that I can safely eat without worry about it aggravating my UC. I also love them because they are so easily portable.

#3 - Bully Sticks - What are these? They are two items for dogs. I’m grateful for them because they keep our new little puppy nice and busy when we don’t have time to play with him., or when we just wanna have a quiet night watching television. They are kind of expensive but they are very worth it.

Happy Thursday dear friends

Holy Bible. Books in general

Breath. By my faith belief every breath is truly a blessing from God.

My beloved dad's first name starts with a B. I am beyond graced by God to have him.

Benjy my childhood stuffed animal dog and a special stuffed animal teddy bear of my dad's named Billy have sure brought us a lot of comfort and love over the years.

Last name- Both my maiden name and DH's last name are Bs. So, I'm grateful for all of us with these B names.

Bikes- While I am a disaster on a bike...well, at least on the trails around our town, they were a real blessing for my kids for a while. Part of why we picked our house/area was that the kids could easily bike to/from the closest middle school and elementary school. On a bike, the elementary school ride was about 3-5 minutes door to door. The middle school was about 5-7 minutes.

Brie- While I'm currently avoiding dairy as it seems to be tied to some health issues, I love cheese and brie is one of my favorites.

It’s Friday :cool1:

#1 - The Bible - I enjoy proclaiming the readings from The Bible during our weekly Mass.

#2- Belts - I like all different kinds of belts for my pants or jeans

#3 - Balls - Lots of great memories with balls. Soccer balls with DD26, softballs with DD21 and all the balls with all my different dogs.

Things with Holes ~

Doughnuts - Whenever I'm "home" for a visit, my aunt still brings over doughnuts from the bakery I knew as a child.

Strainers & Graters - kitchen gadgets I use all the time

Tea Bags - for warm drinks on these increasingly chilly days

...

Friday hugs everyone

Dad enjoys regular size bagels and I like mini bagels.

Memory of the blessing of being able to visit my late friend Sue on her actual 100th birthday last year. Dad and I brought her doughnuts which she loved.

Dad uses a funnel to pour distilled water easier into our humidifiers. Maybe not a true hole but one that makes water transfer easier.

Lens aperture- it’s the opening (hole) that controls how much light passes through to to the camera’s sensors.

Breathable fabrics- all of those little holes that allow you to be covered yet ventilated.

A good shower head- I generally like a larger one with more holes to allow for a more broad area of spray.
