Three Things...Gratitude Thread

1. Family and friends: my mom passed away Thursday, just 4 months after my dad. She was 98 and had been determined to live to 100, but it was just too hard after losing my dad. The support from friends and family has been wonderful.
2. On a much less serious note, Flair pens! I love them and order them in multi-colored packs so I can color code everything.
3. Flowers; a symbol of hope, and beauty in a world that contains the opposite. Much needed for balance.

Bluecastle and prayer. I also love flair pens in different colors. I use Paper mate pens all the time and in fact would be blessed to send you a card with writing in lol a color of your choice PM me.

Good Tuesday Morning!

Laughing is one of my favorite things to do.

#1 - Jerry Seinfeld - I love/loved his show and I loved seeing him on stage.

#2 - Sebastian Maniscalco - This guy is the best comic of our current time (IMO). I follow him on all social media platforms. His TikToks are so funny. One day we’ll see him on stage.

#3 - My DD20 - she is very funny and the person I laugh the most with. I’m sure people think we’re nuts when we’re together, but we don’t care. All that matters is how much fun we are having.

Your coworker that you should NOT be with during meetings because you know you can’t keep a straight face - we even do it on zoom via text !! I think my boss is catching on

The funny cute things our pets do !! There crazy antics whether it’s the silly sleeping positions or the silly things they get into !! Never a dull moment!!! I once had a dog & cat that worked together and they got into all kinds of trouble !!! You never knew what those two were going to do next !!

Fuzzy blankets/hoodies- I love to snuggle up in a nice, soft, fuzzy blankie!
Flowers
Food, glorious food! I can't eat much anymore, quantity-wise thanks to bariatric surgery, but I love almost all "normal" foods. I also love that we have fresh, healthy food at our grocery store and can afford most of what we'd like to eat.

Things that are funny...

1. The kids - the humor has changed over the years, but they still do so many goofy things that make me laugh and are the source of so many of our inside, family jokes.

2. The dog - Some of our dogs have been goofier than others. I think our current one is especially silly. She's smart...like if she had opposable thumbs, you'd expect her to use doorknobs and the microwave. Still, she just has her moments where all you can do is laugh...like how she equates arguing with a call for playtime. If anyone raises their voice, she goes charging across the room...finds a toy...and charges back to you with said toy- playfully snarling, growling, barking, and play-bowing. She's relentless...you must stop arguing and play with her in that very moment.

3. Comic Relief - While there is the charitable comedy event that goes by this name...which is a great thing, I'm thinking of those tense moments where someone's little tidbits of humor breaks that tension and makes you giggle (or more).

(Tues, 3/19) - 3 funny things you're grateful for

1. Comedians - I love seeing live comedians. That's one thing I love about Carnival cruise line is that they have so many comedy shows! I also love John Crist - he's a Christian comedian and he is so funny and keeps it completely clean!

2. Inside jokes - not to exclude others, but inside jokes are the best with your family and friends!

3. Old sitcoms - I keep telling DH we need to start watching some of the old sitcoms. I'm sure some of them are streaming and would be fun to watch!

I had a dog who could open doors - best one was the sneaky cat not only could he open containers - he would put the lid back on !!! He was a street cat for years so he had a lot of tricks he taught the dog several they got up to mischief daily while I was at work !!!
